No, but he's gone AWOL for almost a full year before.
This was only a few months away from being released, it seems like he got burnout while bugfixing.

Clymenia usually delivers. This is very weird. Usually he is also Twitter addicted but for the last 5 to 6 months he just vanished.
Real shame he seemed to have puffed into smoke. I liked the artstyle of the older games better, but I was still looking forward to this. Hopefully it comes back some time down the line.
It hasn't even quite been a full year yet, I've seen people pop back up from online absences that lasted longer, and I don't think this is the first time Clymenia has vanished from the internet for a while.
I'm a little lost, first I saw that it was a normal game like any other (omitting the part that is still a trial version) and now I'm finding out that it is from clymenia the main reason why I have come to know this page and now seeing the DL, since the DLC there is no activity of this person and even I thought that he had stopped making games.

He’s takin a year hiatus before but sucks he’s doing it so close to this game launching. He’s gotta be thinking that this game is just money sitting there.

Is that an assumption on your part or did they post that somewhere. Definitely not on Ci-En since there's no new posts.
People just assume he is capable to do that. Do you know what happened to him?
Perhaps he or a family member had an accident... shit happens... or since it's Japan there is always the giant risk of "giving up".
No need to speculate... just wait and either he will reappear... or not.

From what I can guess by reading his Twitter and Ci-En it's either Option 1 or Option 3 which are both terrible, but no point in spreading strange theories and misinformation, but the truth is that we'll probably never see the full game

Again, he's gone AWOL for longer than this before.
The simple answer is that solo creators frequently get burnt out and vanish without a word. A few hundred notifications from hysterical followers won't entice them back.

Actually this is the longest time he's disappeared so far, last time he didn't post anything for 6 months, now we're almost at 8 months
