-actually most of the problem was the choices that really made no difference, not the content itself.
-Imagine people on a pirate site that allows public comment not paying and making comments publicly, what a shock.
-If you don't understand why other people want to 'vocalize' their opinions of dislike then why are you doing it? Shouldn't you just stay on patreon and discord where you must surely be paying to be? By the way, the dev is already making changes based on the feedback, it looks like those choices will actually become real choice and not just fluff. So I guess those people might be the reason ...
My comment, unlike yours, was about what actually happens in the game, right after you reject their proposal for a threesome, with Tommy and Abigail literally saying that the MC can have sex with her with Tommy's blessings and no strings attached. I even posted the exact lines in the script.
What part of:

That's actually you. People are complaining about the game, while y'all are complaining about those people. It's actually kind of pathetic, the latter.
Maybe y'all should just realize that, at the end of the day, it's always on the dev (and on how much they want any given game to make). Simple as that.

So a lot of people have been disappointed with the dev making content optional, bending a knee and what not, but for me it seems pretty logical from where im thinking the game is headed. Considering some of the conversations at the end MMF doesn't seem like it will be a big part of the game outside the intro. It looks like the MC is going to go through a trial/trials to become the new patriarch, and it there doesn't seem to be any men in this place outside the patriarch yet. So if im right then there really isnt a reason to force MMF when its really just used as a plot device to get the MC into the woods and give him sex on the way.

Exactly, if people want the option and its not really much work to give it [since it seemed like it was already written to have it almost] and on top of that it doesn't actually hurt the story, then I can't see why its such a problem.

If sharing is then optional he won't be sharing her so MC won't be fucking her.

The dev didn't say that. Not having a threesome will be a thing, which makes sense as per the options given, but apparently you still get Abigail, but by herself, again, as per previous options given

I don't think the sharing part is what's going to be optional, but the threesomes. Like I said, even if you reject the threesome, the MC still has sex with Abigail (no options there and I don't think anyone complained about that part), with both her and Tommy accepting that the MC doesn't need to agree in anything more at that point.
The main complain is how rejecting the offer for a threesome leads to a threesome anyway, just a day later, not so much how the MC still gets to bang Abi. I think people didn't complain much about the sharing aspect in general, because it seems that it won't be the main focus of the game. At least that's my understanding based on the dinner table conversation between "mother" and her "daughters" and that final scene in the cell.
Now, I obviously can't speak for everyone, but at least for me, someone who's not into sharing in any shape or form, it's easier to "tolerate" the type of sharing (again if I'm right and it's not the main focus of the game) this game offers, up until that forced MMF threesome, if it leads us to the "real" story.
mc having sex in the prologue is probably important for the story. If mc has no sex how should the cult know that he has better sexual attributes than Tommy and they have to abduct the mc for the trials?
If mc has no sex at all with Abigail, the consequence might be that Tommy is abducted instead and becomes the new patriarch while the mc and Abigail are left alone in the forest, about 1 week away from civilization -> game over.
If both mc and Tommy would start the trek with girlfriends/wives, it probably would be more difficult to have lots of sex. Also the mc would later have the problem that he has to deal with the cult (corrupting all the girls, etc) and with his girlfriend/wife who won't be happy to be abducted or left behind.
Another scenario would be Tommy and mc hiking with 2 independant girls and they choose during the trek who fucks which girl ... in that case the girls would cause no problem when mc is abducted. Maybe they would abduct the girls, too, to integrate them into the cult after brainwashing/training them?
But these 2 scenarios are just hypothetical since they would require a complete rework of the prologue ...

Thank you Thegary for this new game. I had a lot of fun with CMA and it is for me a game that will never be equaled both in terms of story and graphics quality.
Today you send us a new game and I loved playing it. In chapter 5 of CMA you had received a lot of criticism on the end of your game and today while browsing the forum, I see that it is also the case for the beginning of your new game. You want to share a story with us and it is yours and I think that you must ignore all criticisms and share with us your vision in this game that you propose to us. For me you will remain the boss of adult games (ok it's because of what you put forward the fetishes that I love) but the quality of your games is very good.
The only thing I could ask you is if it is possible to put a translator in your game for those who have trouble with English (I am on the translator all the time to be able to fully enjoy your games ). Hachigames managed to do this in Hail-dicktator is when I restarted the game with my native language, the game was of a different nature and I enjoyed it more despite the poor translation.

The end of the last update is clearly leading to some bdsm female domination stuff, i'm already drooling thinking about this yummy!!!
I hope it will be dark and painfull for the MC, it seems there will be some trial in a middleage way, let's hope the dev will not be a sissy and go full trottle into kinky stuff.

This seems like a very strange type of drama.
People had a pretty understandable complaint; they chose in game that their character didn't want that type of content, but the game ignored it and gave it to them anyway. This was compounded by the fact that the last game didn't force content on you that you didn't want so it came as a surprise to old fans, hence backlash. All pretty understandable up to this point. Obviously since this is the Internet some people blew it out of proportion and others turned it into an NTR debate but overall most of it made sense.
What I found weird was the backlash to the backlash. I get being annoyed by some of the more childish or demanding comments but arguing that it was weird for people to complain when the choice given to them in-game to opt out of mmf content was ignored seem strange. Especially when the arguments seemed to just be variations of telling people they are dumb for not liking mmf content. To the point that of some claiming that the dev caved when he responded to feedback and would make it optional in the future. Being able to opt in or out of content and having in game choices matter is surely a win and gives players more agency. Being annoyed/passive aggressive about it just seems odd to me.
Anyway, glad to see the dev keeping a cool head and listening to feedback while also not changing the overall vision of the game. Keep up the good work and good luck with the game.
