Pretty cool concept! Really like NTR games that try to incorporate NTR into game mechanics, sadly these kinds of games are kinda rare. Can't wait to see more of this.
Things like that need to be said or showed in the popup of the item though, how is anyone supposed to know that the mentor 'refills' the potions? Even the newly added potions have vague descriptions... why? At this point i hope it isn't just going to be a grindfest. Already that you have to rebuy each time all the items wasn't a 'good' premise, why are you throwing good potions and torchlights? You can speed up her corruption by making her drink the three free potions you get that restore her focus, then her mentor will refill them. If you make her drink again she'll take notice on how it tastes different. She got pretty corrupted after making her drink more potions at that point, at least in my game.
How exactly? What gets broken?saves files just bug out
Sorry to hear that! Game saves when you press "To Main Menu" button, I'll change that. Could you please tell me when it gets crashed exactly? During fights?i crashed at least 4 times and the save didn't carry on
Thanks for reporting, I'll take a look.it bugged out and the action box disappeared
H-actions progress with EP. She gets undressed at higher EP values as well.with the purple bar being 17/30 or something like that, without her even getting naked.
I wonder, how did you do it?It annoyed me so much that i fired godot engine to see the scenes, lol, and i have never used it. There are some animations of the mentor that don't have the counter part for the girl and vice versa, but in godot, given my inexperience, i wasn't able to figure out how to remove her clothes.
That's a good idea. I think it's pretty unsatisfying that torches just stop working entirely once she's been stripped.Loving the changes and new content. One suggestion though, maybe cap the light level at 20-30 after Aster has been stripped as opposed to removing the ability to use torches entirely. The implication that the gameplay provides is that 30 is the level where the protag can no longer tell what exactly is happening, since that's the threshold for Mentor making his moves. This would still make it so the hero "can't see" that Aster is unclothed, but still allows players to see the image if they want to. Also just kinda sucks to spend a bunch of money on torches, only for that money to be totally wasted two rooms in.
Other than that though, excellent stuff so far, great work!
OOOh... yeah, that's a good idea!I think a pretty good thing to add would be an item that permanently raises the minimum torchlight level so you can always see a tiny bit more
or just use cheat engine... kinda work to...Seeing a lot of struggle posts about the difficulty of this game, and before the dev adds any cheat tools or similar in a future update, here's what I came up with that works very well:
1 - Make sure after downloading the game, you run it once. You don't need to run a dungeon, just read through the starting chat so you have your starting gold profile.
2 - Exit the game and navigate to the save file location. The dev posted it in the previous page, but as a reminder:
Save File Location: %appdata%/Roaming/Godot/app_userdata/THE PERFECT PAIR shall rise!
3 - Copy the save file to saveeditonline.com . It will pop open and there will be a statistic for gold there. I recommend at least 999,999 gold or more, you will effectively never run out at that point.
4 - Download the edited save file, copy it back over to the original save file location and overwrite.
5 - Start the game up again, and you can confirm the gold edit worked when purchasing supplies in the next dungeon run you do.
6 - Recommend Supplies:
- Take at least as many Heal S and Heal M potions as there are rooms in your dungeon run. If you do a 12 room run, at least 12 Heal S and 12 Heal M. If you do the highest 24 room run, same deal.
- Take twice as many Stamina potions as there are rooms in your dungeon run.
- Take.. 8ish Torches? Currently because of the soft lock once Aster goes topless/bottomless, these quickly become useless.
- Take 3 or 4 'Mara Scale' potions. They come in handy once Aster's EP wipes out her MP (her top bar goes completely pink and gets stuck in Meditation during fights without any mana, aka blue bar, aka MP)
**NOTE: Supplies don't carry over to each dungeon run, so remember to buy this stuff again for every run. Ask me how I know.
7 - With all the supplies you need, running a dungeon is fairly easy if a bit tedious. Always Guard to any Heavy/Frenzy attack, mix up Slash and Thrust, keep an eye on your stamina.
8 - Most ambush's can be completed in one round if you go with Slash/Thrust/Slash/Thrust/Slash. After each ambush, you only need a single Heal S to top up and a single Stamina. If the RNG was not in your favor, you'll need two Heal S / one Heal M and two Stamina.
9 - BOSS FIGHTS: In the last room before you go, if you haven't used the 'Mara Scale' potions yet, dump them all now. You need Aster to use Mana Spears and Combat Heals each round to consistently defeat a boss, and if she is full EP she will be stuck in Meditation mode and unable to cast any spell. Once in the actual fight, make sure to Guard every single Heavy/Frenzy attack and use most Soft attacks for Rest. Focus just on attacking with Thrust, the RNG for connecting with it against the Boss is the same as any other Slime. Basically, your priority is mostly Guarding to survive enough rounds for Aster to keep you alive and cast as much damage as your Thrust attacks. The Mana Spear crits for like 14 damage sometimes, it's really good.
Good luck.
I like this idea quite a lot, with the caveat that it shouldn't necessarily be totally permanent, but a sort of toggleable upgrade. You make a one-time (or even one time per run, though a perm-unlock would obviously be preferable) purchase of, say, a lantern or something that permanently raises the minimum light level to either one tier above pitch black (I think that level would be 10, but I'm not 100% sure) or at/just below the required 30 light level for Mentor to make his moves, but having the option to use it from the item menu to shut it off so you can still get the total darkness silhouettes if you want them.I think a pretty good thing to add would be an item that permanently raises the minimum torchlight level so you can always see a tiny bit more
