VN - Ren'Py - Completed - The Professor [v3.4] [Pixieblink]

Okay now... Wow.
The quality of the visuals isn't that high and this might put off some people. But they are stil ldecent and in exchange you have a LOT of content and particularly a LOT of animations, and I am not talking about "inserting it in and out". But characters mouvements, dancing, undressing, camera mouvement and so on. It's incredible. One exemple is we see the first persobn view of a girl holding a camera sneaking int othe bathroom and climbing an top of a toilet stall to film another girl in there. Very well done.

Second the game is very funny, not because there are "jokes" but because of how crazzy the stuff happening is, and that' without ruining your boner... most of the time .

There are a lot of girls as well, some will be hit and miss some will be winners depending on your tastes and fetishes. But there is something for a lot of people here.

Well, I am half way through the girls, and I can garantee, this will make it rain a thousand loads.

This is one of the best games right now in f95zone.

First impression v.1.7: idiotic game. I'm looking for something else. Then I read a few reviews and told myself to give it a try.
I'm impressed. Your humor is crazy, comparable to that of Fallout games. Rarely did I laugh until my belly hurt playing a game.
1. The teacher. We are invaded by teenage characters who somehow manage to fuck everything that moves. The teacher is an anti-hero. As it looks, his thoughts, the picture with the wife - at the wedding and with the child are clear signs of a sick humor. Only for this: 5 stars.
2. You are well aware of stereotypes and manage to photograph them. The figures of the characters at certain times are phenomenal.
3. I like how you conduct the action. The erotic is well stressed, well described and again, crazy.
4. I am afraid that you are in a narrow audience segment. The potential is great. Steam?
5. A game for people who appreciate black humor, stupid but interesting girls and who describe many of us well.

This game never got on my radar till yesterday. Read some preivious reviews & thought it would be worth the DL.

Strait out of the box, the characters are not beautiful to say the least. I think that was a dev choice rather than lack of talent honestly or lack of proprietary graphics software & the Spare uber PC to run it all. It makes sense to me at least. Kind of a warning that this is not necessarily a fapper.
What it IS is adult entertainment. The writer is so good. Minimalism is a hard nut to crack, this author has done it, or maybe it's just the American English I find so refreshing..
The game was either written by (in descending order of probability)
A) A Female exposing all the biases of a middle age misogynist white male
B) a Millenial who's dad was like that & either want's to pay homage or expose
C) My ID's twin
Cutscenes are fucking hilarious. 1950's feel to the hypno is just perfect.

I would love to see this given the semi major studio touch ala Leisure Suit Larry or going with live actors like Vivid tried doing in the 90's.

Only time I held the ctrl key on this Ren'py game was when I hit the end of content wall. & got the patreon spiel.

Masterpiece of writing. Character progression is logical. & I feel dirty after I've played it. What's more to want?

DO NOT BE HASTY TO CLICK THE CUTSCENES!!!!! some are tiny, some are huge. Knowing which is which would be a bonus honestly, my only real gripe.

Fucking hilarious game by someone that either "gets me" or is parodying my innermost thoughts, I'm cool with either. I can laugh at myself.

This review is for version 1.6 of the remaster. Two spoilers are blurred below.

Please note that I'm both wordy and nit-picky. I point out flaws below as I see them, but this really is an outstanding project with only minor imperfections rather than any glaring issues.

First, the animations are up there with the best I've seen, and probably the absolute best for Daz-style characters where there is a lot of action happening. And there are a ton of animations, probably more than stills. Some of the mind-control animations could do with a bit of standardizing as they get somewhat repetitive and feel overly long though. I think the dev recognizes this as the latter ones seem better. The transitions between text boxes were long enough in those though that they annoyed me and I disabled them. The beginning-of-day routine gets a bit repetitive as well, but it passes quickly.

The character models range from acceptable to really hot. I started with the remaster, so I don't know what it looked like before, but there are only minor issues now. Katie and Chelsea are probably the hottest, but none of them are ugly with the possible exception of the main character's nemesis, the Vice Principal. It's hard to say though since she's almost always scowling. There's a lot of variety in the girls and they all have believable proportions rather than the typical enormous breasts found in most games. Erika has a little oddness going on under her breasts and it's occasionally off-putting, but everything else looks great. The main character isn't the most attractive guy, but he looks like a real person and I like that he's not the typical high-school-to-college-age protagonist trying to bang his family.

The textures and assets look good, the lighting looks natural, the posing is interesting and well-done, and the shots are well-constructed. I wish the resolution was a little higher, but the developer has to be fighting to keep the file size reasonable and probably to render the animations in a reasonable time frame. I'm astonished he got so much video to fit in a 540 MB zip file when so many projects with mostly stills require 2+ GB downloads.

I'm rarely happy with the sound in any project, including mainstream commercial VNs, so I won't comment much here except to note most of the non-music sound is played for comic effect. It can get repetitive, but that's also part of the humor.

The story is where some people might find fault. The premise is goofy and some of the goings-on are more in line with a Tom and Jerry cartoon than a typical adult VN. Don't get me wrong, this is clearly what the writer is going for and I found it hilarious and a lot of fun. Just go in expecting physical comedy rather than drama.

The characters are interesting and the stories with the girls progress differently. They do feel a bit disconnected. I think it would help to tie them together more as more is written. For example, during one girl's story, you find a video tape of a second girl. It's hinted you should pursue the second girl to deal with an issue with the first's progression. It would make sense here to only allow 1-2 more scenes with the first until you do the first few scenes of the second (though that part doesn't appear to have been written yet, so this may already be planned). I'm not advocating forcing players to play a lot of content for girls they're not interested in, but if it's relatively early, it might make the routes feel more like part of a whole rather than separate short stories. It might also be interesting to have some scenes with multiple girls pop up if you've advanced both far enough.

The prose is well-crafted and fun to read, never dwelling on mundane topics or navel-gazing. I didn't notice any spelling or grammar errors and the writer appears to be an idiomatic English speaker.

Towards the end, particularly in the Erika path if I recall correctly, there's a lot of "next" and "click to advance" in the text boxes during animations. I suspect this is temporary as the developer figures out how he wants to handle this stuff, but it is a bit odd in the meantime.

One thing I didn't care for is you're suddenly watching one of the girls (two if you count a side character) suck a comically giant, black dick. It's not NTR because you're not dating the girl (or even having sex with her yet), but it's the sort of thing most VNs would let you opt-out of, such as, "Do you want to see sexual scenes of the girls with other men? y/n."

I look forward to seeing where this project goes. I'd like to see the stories overlap a bit more and perhaps for a larger overarching narrative to emerge. But even if everything continues just as it has, it will still be well worth reading.

This game may look shitty on the outside, but it's actually great!

For one thing, most of the scenes are animated, and they're quality. There's a lot of facial expressions and camera angles you don't see in other games.

There's like zero grind. The gameplay is straightforward -- you choose a girl from the menu, see her next scene, then return to the menu to choose another girl or continue with the same girl.

I'm lucky I found this game! The first time I saw it, I ignored it because the screenshots looked low quality. I came back and gave it a shot, and now I love it!

All I want from a porn game: perv MC, great animations and the possibility to skip them. No bullshit grinding... If only more games were like that. Never been a paetron but now I'm thinking about it. Worth the download for sure!

But If you want long complex story, go elsewhere. Not really any meaningful choices for now but I could come at a later stage I guess (hope).

as promised here my review. version: 1.5a

the game is not worth 5 stars, heck no. in all honesty, some people reviewing games should reconsider when to give 5 stars and when not. giving 5 stars means that the game is so fucking superb you can't add anything more to it to make it any better. not so for the game "the professor". it's actually so bad it's good again, i shit ya not. don't expect a monument of a game or a deep story with lots of different paths and choices. don't expect stunning graphics, exotic fetishes and whatnot. this is not a milestone game, it's simply a silly and fun game.. but that doesn't have to be a bad thing.

the story is told quickly: you are a professor in ya late 40s or so. you already had to suffer through marriage, had a great job once (yet fucked it up there) and now are stuck in a god damn catholic college. everything is so prude it pisses you off. one day however, you see an ad advertising some weird glasses that can manipulate its wearer. you instantly buy it and begin doing devils work to have some fun with ya students ^^.

obviously the game has many flaws. first of all, it's not really a game, it's more of a slideshow. you could also call it a kinetic novel. so far the only choice you can do (and that's with erika) doesn't really matter. ultimatively it narrows down to one single path. the graphics look outdated. well not every dev has the money to buy fucking expensive assets (and i understand it; still gotta rate it though). animations are pretty clunky at times, but i do like that there are animations at all. and i also gotta admit, that, even though the graphics look outdated as fuck it kinda reminds me of those old sharkoon games (and some of them weren't bad either at that time). simple story, slideshow gameplay, simple graphics... you can't give full 5 stars for that. BUT the game has some strengths that could make ya consider playing the game nonetheless. the jokes ingame are nasty and funny as fuck. the dev knows what good dark humor is ^^. he even makes fun of his own graphic assets by going over the top (that red car, holy shit xD; it just makes ya grin from ear to ear). the game only uses few sounds, but the few you hear are mainly used to make ya laugh once again, using sounds like cat noises and shit xD. you never get bored playing this game and if you don't wanna read the wall of text you can just skip it. the story is so simple you won't miss shit. while the graphics are simple and the animations clunky, that shit still looks sexy. camera angles and teasing scnes especially work damn well. it's just fun seeing erika slowly unbuttoning herself or katie sounding like a fucking cow while being chained on metal pipes xD.

so jeah, that actually covers the whole game. there isn't much content yet, mainly two girls that are (the third girl samantha doesn't have much content yet), i would say, halfway done. expect an half an hour or maybe an hour of gameplay depending on how fast you read.

conclusion: this game can't compete with AAA titles, nor will it change ya life, but it has its own lil' charm. it works perfectly as a lil' quicky game when you want something fun and silly for some minutes. i do hope the dev will give us some more routes and choices to play with, but other than that, given the ressource he has at hand, i would say, that he does the most out of the lil' foundation he has.

so jeah, silly 3 of 5 stars!

Graphics are a bit bad, but overall it looks fine. It also seems like the graphics for more recent scenes are being improved. A bit barebones for now, lacking any interaction or game play except remembering pig slut. Would like a scene veiwer.

Version Reviewed: v1.5a

Sometimes these porno games get so wrapped up in the story they forget about the fapping. This is not one of those games. The story, such as it is, involves your old balding main character ordering some hypnosis goggles off of TV ad and deciding that he's going to use them to get so much pussy.

That's pretty much the level of the writing. "I'm horny, she seems easy, lets trick her into fucking me." There is a corruption element in that you typically have to run through the girl's story arc multiple times before she gives up the poon, but every scene is new (although some animations get reused) so you aren't just clicking through a repeating scenario multiple times until some hidden counter hits some hidden threshold. There are also zero (0) moon logic puzzles to figure out. Literally you just choose a girl from the menu every day and get the next step in their storyline.

Graphics: Medicore to Ok. It's not a crisp clear game with beautifully rendered parts perfectly lined up. It's a bit slapdash looking at times, and while the animations are nice and long they're quite stiff and amateurish looking. The girls are well proportioned and all gorgeous. The MC however is pretty gross and his naked body is quite prominent in many scenes.

Fetish content: Bondage, Rape, Schoolgirl. Pretty hot really.

Fap rating: Extremely high. There's very little boring downtime and almost no grind. While you're not always sticking your dick in warm holes there's a lot to fap over.

Amount of content: A good amount. And this game doesn't pad out its runtime with useless filler which is much appreciated.

Problems:
1. No gallery to replay scenes.
2. Sometimes it's hard to tell when an animation is starting, when you are clicking through some dialog it's easy to accidentally skip over an animation without even realizing it. This is a fairly major problem because some of the animations are quite long and deliver a lot of the plot, such as it is.

Overall: Download it. It doesn't waste your time and is great for fapping. Just be careful to watch out for animations starting. Luckily the game has a fully functional rollback feature, so if you do accidentally bypass an animation you can rollback to watch it.

Maybe it's because I just finished a fairly grindy game, but this one is great. It's the exact opposite, no grind at all. In the morning, you pick which girl's path you want to pursue that day and off you go.

Every day with each of the girls has well done animated scenes. There's a good amount of content, the renders and animations are hot and the girls have a nice variation in appearance. Good stuff.

The one knock would be that the male lead is a fairly old creepazoid. But it is so over the top that it feels almost like a parody, so no docking points.

Edit: Having played the recent updates, I'm dropping the rating by a star. The animations have just gotten weird in the last few updates. Way way too uncanny valley.

this is really good. it surprised me, everything has animations. the blonde one is the best, you could add more big breasted dumb girls, those are the best. maybe some naive ones, virgin ones. the other ones are kind of ugly. the writing is terrinble tough. but the game is really good and interesting

Love this game, great if you want to have fap material rather then loads of story text to read through plus its pretty funny.

This game is hilarious from beginning to end and even the end of content for characters message is hilarious. Wow just wow. This game isn't for everyone. If you play this game, remember it is just a game and don't take it seriously. There's mind control, rape, corruption and all done in a hilariously cheesy way. This is the funniest game on this site.

The gameplay is A to B, but you get to choose which woman's route you want to play per day. The A to B element is done in a way that is repetitive but not boring, and you will barely notice the repetitiveness, because you will flying through each day laughing all the way. The game even makes fun of the A to B element .

Recommend repeatable sex scenes and go home, non-story related.

I know others may have different opinions, but my overall view of this game is "Meh".
The renders are average with no customization to the models that I can tell. I kept trying to figure out what I was thinking while I was playing and the best I can come up with is it's like watching a cartoon. And not a very good one. The writing feels like it was done by a 12 year old boy and the dialogue and sound effects are more annoying than humorous. The premiss is poor and the characters and devices do not consistently conform to the dev's own stated rules.

On a positive note there are a lot of animations, but since the characters are all posed like Barbie dolls it looses it's impact. Plus the transitions are pretty rough.

There really is no grind. Normally a good thing, but it's not enough to overcome the sore spots.

All in all I didnt hate it, but given there is only 24 hours in a day and there are so many other better mind control games to play I just suggest "pass" on this one.

I can't say i like it, yet, i've played worse.
- Models are alright, not great though
- Barely any content yet (only with the blond)
- Boring gameplay (rince and repeat the same thing to advance the story), at least, you don't have to hunt down scenes
- The fetish list is long and yet, 3 of them are preeminent : bdsm, slave and rape, if you're not into it, like me, just don't play it, there's nothing for you here

From my point of view; The offbeat nature of the story, the wayward characters, and freak mind control interactions make the game appealing in every way, likes a Dank Memes

Aside from all this nonsense surface, there's something interesting about this game (perhaps all the emphasis on Mind Control and "The Freak Show").

This game is so good because :
- old dude gets all the fun
- nice girls
- I'm not into small tits, but this small titted girl has something special
- easy gameplay
- very good animations
- very fappable
And the reason why I would even give it 5 stars, if it was the only reason :

Awesome jokes, ok models...
The problem of this game is the "non-openworld-ness" since you simply click on the girl you want the story to continue. No real choice, nor in the relationship approach nor in the sex scenes. The key story feature being the Hypnotic device being failed too. It shoud pervert slowly the girls instead of being the thing coming in the final end of each girl.
Good ideas but could be improve ;-)
