Release an update every year!
You're putting too much pressure on this dev!
You're putting too much pressure on this dev!
The dev puts the pressure on the dev...not the consumers. The dev makes the promises of release dates. The dev decides what goes in the game. The dev decides how much time they can/want to spend on it. The consumers come here and whine about broken promises, but in no way does that put pressure on the dev. There have been multiple times the dev said the next update would be released, and then at release time, come up with an excuse as to why it wasn't released. This has been going on for over a year. Expect comments to be what they are.Release an update every year!

I can't even affirm that in good faith anymore. I'm half convinced the man is some sort of addict. No one is this self enabling without special circumstances. At least there is forward progress. Allegedly.
Nah man. It's coming out later this week. He promised this time!Is the game dead?

Note: Later this week means Soon^(TM)Nah man. It's coming out later this week. He promised this time!
15 months!! It's hard to even keep track of his failings at this rate. It's all blurred into one big stinking heap of excuses and lies. He probably will release something eventually but we all know it's going to be a half-assed thing and not going to reflect 15 months of working full time on it, 8 hours a day, five days a week. Heck, it won't even look like he just worked two days a week for 15 months. It'll be a stupid puzzle, another added mechanic that will get used for one minigame or something and a tiny dribble of story and images, the thing that everyone is actually waiting for and you can be sure the patreons are paying for too if they were honest. No one is blown away by the shitty minigames in this so much they're going to pay a subscription for years for them. Many people would just press a button to skip them if they could. There's better freeware out there. The saddest part is that when the too little too late update comes out the fanboys will gobble up the meagre scraps scraped onto the floor and thank him for it, the sunk cost and buyer's remorse aversion effects dig them in deeper with every payment. It has already been over 15 months since the last update.
And the single room's only half-missing dialogue, in addition to having already taken over a week, is scheduled to take another one.
Please don't diminish this man's failings with your honeyed words.
