Well so far it worked pretty good imho.
All foundations seem to be already implemented. So I don't know why it should be a technical issue.

From our point of view, all i see is screen switching with the press of a button and imo it would have been smoother to already use finished products like RPGM or Unity to make it more cohesive than RenPy.

I am Happy for every VN that is made in RenPy and not RPGM...
But I really did not have any issues the way the story was presented so far.
Everything worked pretty well imho. It just stopped all of a sudden.

Is there not a dev out there who can continue/finnish this,perhaps a remake. I really liked where it was going so far. Is there a copyright on unfinished games? If so get the creators permission first.

Why there are such questions in many threads?
Name a few developers that have successfully taken projects from other people. Don't you see Big Brother remakes?
Why would someone skilled not start from scratch their own project?
While taking over and continuing development by different creator is unlikely, making a spiritual successor to the game is good option. But that's just my wishful thinking.
If you know a game with similar premise, characters and kinks, let me know. (I'm not being sarcastic, I would like to play something similar)

A game that is somewhat close to it in terms of related themes would be Eruption Imminent. Or Having a Hard Time (kind of?). Both are good with somewhat regular updates. Renders in this VN is too good for a VN this bad. Renders in The Lost Chapter is also good but the story is all over the place.

Wish I was able, I have no clue how to draw pose animate or make playable a renpy game/story, wish I did. Thats why I put it out here hoping one of the highly skilled creators who is in between projects and would take up this one, after talking to the original creator if possible.

Highly skilled creators typically don't take up other creator's abandoned projects. They typically create their own projects. Also, it's unlikely that Alishia would give her blessing, especially given that she claimed to still be working on this, the last time she posted anything anywhere.

You can clearly see the influence of the red room in other games already anyways. When this first came out the level of polish was astounding, but since then many devs have reached or surpassed that level. It's sad really. Would I be happy if Alisha came back to work on the red room? yes. Do I expect it? no. Is there a need in me for it? No, not since other devs have filled the space with comparable content.
The only thing I would add Is how much Alisha struck gold with this game at the time since the thread is still active today despite no activity on her part. The only thing I hope is if she ever come back is for the community to be supportive and welcoming. I know how ruthless we can be at times. I just have no expectations for anything at this point so anything new is good.

I quite disagree with this. I haven't found a lot of games (even from devs that are more professional than Alishia or games that you could call better than The Red Room) that have the same amount of attention to detail in for instance lighting as The Red Room. It's probably also this perfectionism that harmed the development of this game, but the quality in renders is not something commonly found.

Don't get me wrong, Alisha's renders are still among the top, they simply arent the top anymore. They where for a time. If Alisha continues to work on her game she could retake the position at some point, no question asked. And Futa renders of that quality are hard to come by so I see your point, but now there are some better renders elsewhere. That said they might not satiate your need for your kinks like the red room does so that quality for you might not be fulfilling no matter how good they make their renders.

There's no point in having super ultra detailed renders if you can't continue with the game, like in many things like video games and animated series the creators want to create something excellent but they also have to get into a realistic work rhythm, for example Eruption Imminent has a pretty good development pace and at the moment its quality is maintained in each update, or Instinct Unleashed who despite not having modern renders has earned the appreciation of Futa fans and even non-Futa fans, even releasing chapter after chapter it is improving its skills to make higher quality renders.
I hope The Red Room makes a glorious comeback but I won't be sad waiting for it, life goes on.
