So how's the release schedule on this ? Is the game actively worth playing and being regularly updated, or is it stuck in limbo with constant delays like it was last time I checked it out, admittedly quite some time ago ?

As you can see, there was an update in January (Technically, it was at the end of December, but the public release was January.), at which time, Alishia said that she expects to be releasing a new update every 2.5 to 3 months. That would have put the newest update at some time in March, but she announced a couple of weeks ago that it will be delayed until some time in April.

I played this game quite awhile ago and haven't played it that much but during that intro in the dining room I noticed there was that image on the wall of what looked like two lesbians and I am wondering is there like a video of that or was that just some stock image you found/used and do you happen to know the actors in that image?

I have to vent a wee bit about continuity and design. Once I get to grandma's house the game becomes increasingly frustrating. I see that building my relationship with Nina has very limited value as the game is limited on time as per the agreement with Red Room. What's confusing is I get the "wish" option until I get Nina sufficiently stoked, but once the score is sufficient, the "wish" option disappears and no path progression. Then I see in the journal that progression is impossible for this version of the game. The problem is, I now have only a handful of days left and can't complete the massage with Lisa. I don't know if there are any other truncated paths for this release but it doesn't matter as I don't have enough time to complete them.
When I pop open a save and take a look I see there are many planned(?) quests with lots of peeps. If that's the case, looking at what is currently available and what is to come, this game is a long, long way from completion. Regardless, I hope the author keeps grinding away as the story is unique. I just wish there was more cohesiveness with how it's being presented.

Completing Lisa's massage takes 1, maybe 2 days at most. Once you get the option to call her you can just spam phone calls and get her interest up enough to give the massage.

Yes, you are correct, but that progression is not well defined. The first task given is the initial focus and one doesn't know it can't be completed until after the necessary points are obtained (ie, the message should appear in the journal sooner than it does). I was able to go back to an earlier save point and re-allocate my time, so not a huge deal. The point I was trying to make is there could have been a better description of how to progress. Of course, once the game is finished, all this is a moot point.

Yeah Alishia posted saying that she is in Russia and had contact with someone that has COVID 19 and that hew working pc is in another country and the borders are closed. Hopefully is an april fool joke but if is true she will only release an new update in May(If she releases it that it is.). She mentioned on her message that she didnt want to make an patreon post about it because the situation is simple enough so Im guessing that is a joke or she is just being scammy.

I have already seen another Aprils fools post in another thread so I'm just going to see it as another joke post. If it was real they would be posting it on patreon as well as they would want the ones that are paying for this to know what is happening or they know if something happens. Most posts I see today I'll file them under the joke category.
