Dev clearly doesn't care about the game no more. Radio Silence everywhere. He's just there to collect the monthly patreon checks from suckers who forgot to unsub.

I think it was the lack of a tutorial that or really poor timing on the players part.

it's an inherit property of goblin games to be bug ridden grind festivals that somehow still make you addicted but then get abandonded, especially once after you have build some bank or developed skills high enough to finally not feel super weak anymore

it is only technically abandoned, Killjoy the developer is mostly busy keeping his daily life stable, mainly because every time he tried clearing his schedule to focus on the game something derails his plans. usually paying work or house related.

Closing on 2 years since last update. Multiple times he said he was only a week away from the next update. Last time roughly a year ago and the first time was half a year before that. Now we all have points in our life when we get busy, but there's no way he couldn't squeeze out a weeks worth of effort in nearly 1.5 years. Or do a bit less and at least release something.
