Iirc in some of the other earlier version of the game before the multi language version is out, you can press C(?) to copy the dialogue to clipboard. That was really, really useful. Wish the devs have kept that implementation in for Sweet Days before they could push the translated version out.
Can we get that to work again somehow?

Would it be possible to take the official translation of the main game and, I don't know, combine it or something with a machine translator to put out a better-than-usual machine translation of the dlc? Or at least take the text from the official english version and replace all the japanese parts that were in the main game before dlc?

Can't train an AI like that. Second half is possible, depends on how the game handles text. Someone with the effort to translate the game would need to do it though.

It's F1. It copies the text from choices and dialogue.

You need to have the JP 1.04 base game.

You can import saves from multi-lang 1.05 apparently.

You need to have the JP 1.04 base game not the multi-lang version. Copy contents inside game folder. It will overwrite some base game files.

not your typical rpgm game, or unity so translation will vary by who has the most free time

dazedanon

maybe?
This will require actual game-hacking to do, so I wouldn't expect anything from any of the usual suspects.

Unclear if level1 plans to do an official translation like they did for the base game later or not; if they do, probably best to just wait.

EDIT: On second thought, I think I'll give this a go, we'll see how it turns out... The presence of official multi-language support in the engine to hook into should make this far less annoying than it was ages ago when I did the base game (before the official English patch came out).
