I too would like to see this story continue. A couple pages back you can find some posts from others who have done more research into the games abandonment and what they found is confusing at best. Seems like there were several developers who have since had a falling out. Though, it's extremely common for developers of these type of games to throw a few ideas at the wall and see what sticks. Multiple game 'demos' will be released and whichever one catches traction in the crowd funding department will be the one they put their effort into. For this developer it appears that Oh Daddy is the one that stuck; sadly it's a very generic story comparted to the ideas explored in The Secret Family.
Who knows, perhaps they will revisit this work at a later date since they are having some success now. We can hope!
