Also impressive to see just how angry his Patreons are.

Let's be honest, why should they be mad/angry? the idiots are them at the end of the day, like many others who continue to give money to devs that if you see 1 update in the year you are lucky and the content is nothing :LUL: :LUL:

True enough. It's just a shame.

This game is the prime example why the rules around the abandoned tag should be updated. The developer is clearly abusing the system by posting last minute announcements about how "downloads links are coming soon", and then radio silence until the next billing cycle. Rinse and repeat. In its current state, the abandoned tag lacks any meaning outside of an arbitrarily imposed time limit, which fails to take into account the developer's history and actions to skirt that time limit.

It's such a shame because Aorrta is undoubtedly skillful when it comes to rendering images, designing characters, and editing transitions. But their creepy and malicious business practices have squandered whatever potential The Secret Reloaded (and its previous iterations) had. Just a little bit of honest and forthright communication - barring any actual work - might have bought the dev some amount of goodwill from the community but Aorrta can't even be bothered to do the bare minimum...
