Nah he's entertaining lol
Hey guys I just wanted to clear up a few things. I know I differ with most of you on the Patreon subject but I'm not gonna drag anyone over something I did up until last year. I get that some of you can't afford to pay for cc or simply choose not to and I get that but over the time I realized more creators started leaving for SL or stopped entirely because they were not getting anything back in exchange of the work they put into their content so I think it's important to support the creators whose works you enjoy. I pledge in cycles so it doesn't get that expensive and I get content from the owners every few months.
I don't think these leaks help anyone out much tbh creators just change their download systems or up their prices and life goes on for them. I think most creators create enough cc for everyone and Patreon stuff is just optional for those who don't mind paying a few dollars for those who really like a certain creator. Let's all remember it is just a game and people have the right to share their content as they wish, if you don't agree with it you don't have to have it. Anyways sending you all lots of love, let's keep things light xx

Creating stuff is a hobby you do not a work. That's the problem, when ppl make things like that a job. There are MANY great cc creators who get TONS of support, for instance, LittleDica, Icemunmun, BrazenLotus, KiaraSims, Srsly, Ravasheen, Qicc, Greenllamas, HarrisBritney, AroundTheSims and their stuff is 100% free, they just profit from ppls REAL SUPPORT because ppl REALLY WANT TO HELP THEM OUT because their content is REALLY GOOD and because they're aren't jackasses who come up with EXCLUSIVE stuff - selling content - all they do is pre-releases, which I'm fine with it, honestly, they have all rights of making special access for pre-releases - from 1 week till 4 - and WIPs, but they don't fuck up paywall their stuff. Zer0 has created TONS of mods and has TONS of supporters and not even prereleases she does. BECAUSE THEY'RE TALENTED AND PLAY FAIR GAME. So maybe if you resolve to do the same instead of "expecting something back in exchange of your work", you'll be more rewarded. Besides, if I could, I'd support them. The thing is a mere parcel of ts4 community operates in dollar currency. Your dollar worths 5 times my money, which means, 10 dollars is 50 bucks in my country. Which is basically more expensive than a EA stuff pack, and if the SP is on sale, is 2 times so I can buy 2 EA stuff pack. Besides that, you gotta have an INTERNATIONAL CREDIT CARD, see? Which means patreon fuck all up because it doesn't accept real cash, nor bank slips, nor prepaid paypal cards. You gotta then have a bank account with monthly money incoming to get an international credit card. Which I don't have. I tried, in my naivity to save some money to support a patreon that I like and that unfortunattely locks his things under paywall thinking that if I deposit that amount in my paypal account I could use it to pledge. Nah. Not possible. Because patreon requires that to do so you need to have a regular monthly incoming source. So blame patreon, blame how we get pissed to have to pay for exclusive content instead of supporting with very reasonable costs the creators who really deserve it. Besides, those worthy creators are jeopardized because instead of we supporting the work of whom we like, we have to pay for exclusive content of those who milkdry us. And in the end, you and all of your gooses says to us "well if you don't have money, we don't care for you, go get a job", well, so you to get a job, because it seems you don't have one once you made a hobby of cc creating into your job. LOL If I looked agressive, I'm sorry, I have no other way to express myself, really. It's a rant. But stop living in your lil bubble. Besides, if we could not be in here asking but just grabbing the stuff we want, we'd. Is so sad have to wait to someone be able to help you to get what you want. Is enough in the world ppl not getting what they want and a game that should be a escape for you to get everything you wanted irl but can't, hey, hello, you cannot either. And that's why your own "supporters" leak your stuff. Because they pay for it, but are VERY PISSED when they do, because in the end they feel forced to pay for it, it's not from the bottom of their hearts. And that's their revenge. Leaking, your, stuff.

Not many know that the very internet itself was essentially funded on porn when the net was in it's infancy. (Think bandwidth upgrades) Do you think Netflix, Hulu and all those regular streaming services are why you have high speed net access? Do you think it's because of World of Warcraft? So yeah, it's only natural for Sims creators to be dabbling in that market and quite frankly, not enough of them are when you factor in the number of Sim creators out there versus the ones who also do adult content. So I find it amusing when people complain that there are too many "adult mods" while my eyes gloss over as I pass over the 1000th pair of running shoes and the countless other identical content.Me neither, I just found out patreon most income source was porn after I met Yiff. Untill then I thought it was only cc and art. - Well, despite the fact that some ppl (pretend to) believe that porn is a form of art.

Yeah I get where you're coming from and I feel you my currency is also around x10 dollar currency so it is more expensive for me too. I cannot speak for all the creators but most of them I know are not money crazy, they just want to be able to support themselves, etsy creators also do it as a hobby but they don't send out free stuff either so I think people differ since it is pixels but at the end of the day it is still something people put effort into and yeah some policies of Patreon sucks but it is not a Sims based platform so they are probably not too concerned about that. I am sorry about your circumstances and get your stance on it.

people do not mind paying creators (most people here do support and share here) but at the same time ask yourself, why do you need financial incentive to do a hobby? receiving a donation in appreciation for what you do is one thing, and most early access creators recognize it's a donation, but why does this have to be a steady job for you? why not do commissions if you want to be paid? there's a huge market for this but a lot of patreon exclusive ppl do not actually want to create for others. they create and release stuff THEY like. rarely have i seen creators outside of pose creators taking requests from their patrons or offering to do so. if it is offered as a tier perk, people have to PAY to access the privilege of asking a creator to make cc or a pose for them. what the hell is that garbage? it's no wonder why half of these people have a god complex
no one asked any of these creators to make what they do. while i understand times are hard and that's why ppl think every side job needs to be a career, please realize this pay for pixels attitude is ONLY present in this iteration of this franchise. sims 2 and 3 just had rampant adlinks but patreon is a different beast.
the reason why so many leave for SL bc it is a pay for content ecosystem. its entire model is supposed to be a mini economy. you can get a job in second life to pay for land, a home, decorations for that home, additional stuff / etc, whereas you have to use actual money in sims 4 to do much of anything or get the game to even work. you can spend NOTHING in second life and still have a somewhat fulfilling gaming experience (either doing hunts, roleplay, odd jobs, selling services within the game, exploring new maps, etc) whereas you cannot do that with sims 4 base game. sims 4 is inherently built on people having to spend money on expansions, game packs, stuff packs to have a hint of a gaming experience (albeit extremely empty and hollow) . second life people aren't paying for expansions and packs and stuff packs on top of paying for content and i can spend the same amount i pay in a patreon subscription in second life and get A LOT MORE for my money. linden goes a lot further than most currency and patreon is all in USD so not all of us are rich americans. i don't know why any of the patreon exclusive people can't grasp that. you guys are acting like ppl support only 1 creator when it adds up if you support more than 1. a video streaming service costs less than what some people are paying in patreon subscriptions.
on the topic of greed, this holiday, the second life creators i support gave out gifts like 5000L giftcards, 50% off for group members, group events with free gifts, and advent gifts that are FREE. these people are far more thankful and appreciative of the support they get than the bloodsuckers who do patreon exclusives. the hell is an advent gift (converted from second life) i have to buy? christmas holiday cc that comes out in three years later in february?! new years cc available 2 weeks after the 1st? halloween stuff available in march? valentines day stuff available in june. these people are assholes lol. and it's why their stuff is leaked and shared. if you show so little regard for your supporters, do not be surprised when that attitude is reflected back in the form of mass leaks.
