this whole time but because the site is down. All I know is that there's an updated (or new???) simulation lag mod fix there, and because of the borked registration, I can't sign up to get it myself.

I've tried the turbo one and didn't find it worked for me, but this one does very well

Here's a folder with all the versions of Coolspear's lag fix. Download link in the spoiler below, along with Coolspear's god damned novel about the mods, how they work, and how to install them. Install only one. All the information you need to know how this works is hidden somewhere in his rambly descriptions.
note: the Optional add on about the fun pushes is not included. Coolspear removed it from his page. I kept the text there because,
fuck me, I can't figure out what part of those paragraphs, if any, are relevant to the main lag fix mod. This guy is like one of those horrible recipe blogs where they ramble for 2 pages before they post the actual recipe, and then in the recipe they reference things in the preamble that you have to go back and read to know how to prepare the food.
For the record, I've tried all of them and I don't notice a difference. Sims still lag and head bob regardless of what I do.
