he means removeing all mods from your folder and placing only a few back and starting the game to look if this issue still appears. however i had the same problem and used the 50/50 method to check which mod caused this issue and for me it was the color slider because it conflicted with the UI:

one question which one has less bugs wickedwhims or deviousdesires? I'm not decided which of the two to download
Neither are perfect, but WW has fewer bugs. Plus 95% of the xxx mod market supports WW over DD. Get the WW "Inappropriate Unlock" mod too for family/teen inclusion. Get all kinds of supported mods off LoversLab.com.

If you give me the choice, I prefer wicked whims. At the moment I have had no problems except errors due to having the mod outdated.

But I've the feeling even with that they'll spam the same shit anyway.
Use two brain cells coupled with this :
I've been told it does wonders.
Also, you should try to add "please" and "thank you" when you're asking for something.
