See if your computer is using the right graphics. Right click -> Run with graphics processor -> Nvidea or AMD. If it's running with the default intel one you're using a graphics meant only for display, or low processing tasks.

I have tried this but I'm using a desktop PC and it's not possible to use any such options then.

Well, at least it seems he's alive. From what I've gathered he has/had some health issues. He just posted a new/old project on his blog.
Didn't have the chance to check it out yet:

In a post from a couple of days ago he stated, that this is just a "sorry" for the long inactivity and that he will now be concentrating on completion (it's hard to make our from what he posted if he meant the new game or his other projects).
More then this, I hope that Valkyrie Chronicle gets an update soon.

Me too actually. The fantasy/medieval setting of Valkyria is just a personal preference of mine.

Just wish he didn't scrap the previous version of John Smith, just to redo the whole thing with 3D renders- we would be further along in the story if he didn't.
I understand, that it may be sometimes easier to do your own renders, then to find pictures fitting the story (and then there's the copyright issue), but the ones he chooses are always great and look way better.

I like Valk to the only reason I like ROJS more is the 3d renders look good and I don't like looking at porn stars they look to.... Fake.... Idk how to explain it.

I think I know what you mean and it's true that JS 3D models are decent. Personally I really liked the porn models used in the previous version.
I'm just not a fan of "redoing the whole project from the start" thing often found in these types of games.

Yeah kinda wish they would just do it piece meal slowly replacing the pics but I guess they do it that way for those "muh immersion" fags xD
