Consistency is the most important thing to have in any project and freelance artists are notorious flakers. Having someone less skilled on your payroll is a much better deal, otherwise, this project would likely have many delays.

I just finished the mercenary path and I gotta say that the game is very good. I really enjoy the MC and the writing. I'm not sure how much of it is AI but really liked the artwork as well. Desert ones in particular are wallpaper worthy in my opinion.

Characters are great, lore is great, Carolyn is great too. I'm thankful for the option to bed the vampire looking lady lol. It's nice to see erotic games with writing like this honestly.

Just finished the Warrior route. The last scene with Belmont was super hot (wonder if we've seen the last of him?). Really enjoyed the art and writing so far. Maybe I'll try the Mage route next.

We only know that the next update involves the mage path (source). There're 8 inside paths with only 2 completed and at least 10 outside paths with just 2 completed as well. That doesn't include choices leading nowhere atm which will probably lead to new paths one day (like not betraying Xas). Two most content rich paths (mage and warrior ofc) are both outside ones. So the development emphasis has clearly been on the outside path(s) so far, but only HappyDaedalus can give you a comprehensive answer about the future.

I do hope we'll get a inside path where you're playing the politican, or at least the (wo)man next to the one. I expect it'll be a lot harder to write convincingly though.

Update Time! — Release v4.9.9 — 11/07/2024



This release came a little later than I had initially hoped. Had the finished script and all the art, but right when I was planning to code everything together in the previous weekend, some personal life stuff got in the way, nothing serious but enough to prevent me from being able to sit down and do all the work.

Thankfully, now I did find the time, so here it is!

Content for v4.9.9

The new content for this update largely revolves around expanding the mage-storyline. In total we're talking around 40.000 new words, and around 60 new art pieces. We have a good chunk of story content, as well as erotic content with more than 4 different potential characters, so quite a big update!

How to get to the content

Simply continue from where you left off in the mage storyline.

If you've never played the mage storyline; you get to it by doing Intro > Leave with Kate > Don't join mercenaries > Scream when you meet the bandit in the alley. If you follow those steps, you get started on the mage storyline.

Other Development news

Production is still chugging along on the next update. My plan was initially to try and drop another big update soon for the Princess storyline, but that's going to depend on how the art-production shakes out. I usually prefer not to do a release in December, so it might get carried over to January if it's not ready by end of this month.

However, I am also pretty close on completing a smaller storyline, so if the bigger update can't be finished on time, I'll likely try to still release the smaller update this year. I'll keep you all in the loop as I know more.

consistency and quality do not need to be separate. they clearly went for as cheap as possible
look like a mix or child collage art project and cheap AI and thats coming from someone that have no problem with superhuman art style but everyone is free to think differently if the art is good enought for you i respect that.

That and this update reuses CGs from other routes. Though to be honest, I don't care if it means we get updates faster than three or four months at a time or we're not updating the intro.
