Right ?!!!! I love Marinette.

I actually have its game thought since like forever. Some lady bug trainer which starts with her in a relationship with cat noir, her 'kwami' (the magical jewel thing) gets corrupted and slowly corrupts her. That opens lots of possibilities to corrupt her friends as well (like turning cat noir into some sissy and things like that). I love Witch Trainer and wanted to do something similar. I even started doing the game UI in Unity.

But that was before, when I was naive and I thought that games were much "easier" to do. Then I got to experience the HUGE amount of time needed to make renders and now I don't see the game going live in any foreseeable future.

I understand that you are not doing anything with her as far as starring her in her own VN but you did start, are you able to post what you did?
Your renders are top-notch and out of the park. They are amazing, I am not a violent person in real life, but, I love to play a really mean and physically abusive man or woman. Do you plan to take the abuse even deeper? Especially, if the abused person is actually getting off on it.

I appreciate the lezdom in the game, you don't see a lot of it in domination themed, especially scenes that actually feel genuine and realistic.

Dev journal. January 2023.

With the short story out of the picture. It's been fun but it was about time to come back to the main story-line. It's time to start planning the next Theater release which unfortunately won't be soon. As I pretty much foresee as little work happening on January as it happened on December and even when I have some events prepared and most scenarios exist already, a lot of work needs to be done.

So, what is to come ?



It's Paula time. Paula is a bit of an unknown until now. We won't be getting much info about her past, since that's pretty much happening in the end of the season one. But, we will get a lot about her personality in the following updates.

What will the next couple of updates focus on ?

What about Rebeca ?



Rebeca is leaving the spot-light for a while. She hasn't had that many events herself but she pretty much has been the driving force lately. Plus, she will close season one with more opportunities to increase sadism. In the next updates, she will support some Paula past events but that's it. And if for some magical reason I have extra time for her in the next two updates, which I know it won't happen, I'll decide on the fly if I make an Olivia event, or an Agnes event.

And Olivia ? Olivia won't be playable yet and isn't part of Paula events. This time I am doing Olivia dirty and she won't appear for a while. It's a bad day to be an Olivia fan.

Yeah. It is a mess. Specially with the whole temporal back & forward freedom from different characters. The whole hint system to try helping with the decisions is moronic as well. So, I don't think I will continue that. But I had an idea about a color system to guide the player when making decisions & choosing events which I will implement together with all other improvements I made in Clara BitterSweet Day (CBD). So I hope that is enough to improve the player experience. I played the Theater this weekend after playing CBD and it really felt miserable from a usability perspective. Sometimes I didn't know if a character was thinking, or if I had missed some scenes because there is no gallery or any kind of tracking feature.

I'll also add some kind of transparency scroll bar for the dialog box. Sometimes text is hard to read and with such a scroll bar the player could fix it, read it, and move on.

If you select to be submissive to Julius both times in the meeting, Maude will do something. But I haven't decided yet when is that going to happen since it is a secondary story-line and right now I am speeding through the main plot. This story line might include many things, since Karl (the boss) and Agnes could be a thing.

Julius won't do anything though. He has been Paula's supervisor for months already and has never done jack shit. It doesn't fit his character to do it now out of the blue (I know, I know, I could just follow porn logic and make it happen =D). But, Maude is another story. She just saw Paula behavior in the meeting and is interested. That could lead to Julius getting some because Maude likes to tease and have fun. But again, all here is possible but abstract since I had to put several story-lines I had in my head aside given that I already have too many characters to care about.

No offense at all. Did it look that way ? Maybe my way of writing or my cultural background. I just acknowledged what you said as being true.

A non-linear VN with freedom of event choice and multiple paths within some events will get everybody lost. Now it doesn't have so many events, and people play the new updates that come with 3 or 4 new things so they won't notice that much. But imagine a new player that suddenly has to chose among 3 characters and 6+ possible events in total, that is a lot of combinations ! What does he play first so that he maximizes his player experience and searched kinks ? He is going to get lost, angry and it is stupid to have a UI that makes your players confused. The system needs hinting and the current hinting I implemented is visually non-appealing, intrusive, provides not that much clarity anyway... the new system will be better but will still need some work.

Kind of sad to see Rebecca take a back seat going forward since she's been such a fun catalyst for some the of best events so far (imo)

But I get it, the only thing I want to see more of than Rebecca is a continuation of the story elements and background/development of the characters, which it sounds like her taking a backseat is necessary to accomplish this.

Trying to step the quality of renders up with some things I learned from the other game plus, new ideas and some youtube wisdom.





I keep ever changing the models. The more I learn the more I'd like to make them look better. Not prettier though. They are cute enough and they shouldn't be outstandingly pretty except for Olivia, which arguably looks like crap but will improve. I just fix some skin tones, details and so on. I won't remaster any of the previous renders for now. Once the season closes curtain then I'll take some time to update the models, fix inconsistencies, the many, many renders full of noise that I didn't know how to fix back then, etc. But until then new content full throttle.

I am working on several key frames right now for different scenarios. I'd like to make a release with some content and the formatting changes in the text, some music maybe and a better separation between acts + the replay system & some replays.

Not really. My games are more a result of negative inspiration than the opposite. I couldn't find the kind of lez/fem/mal-dom that I was looking for so I made it myself. Dialogs and situations are a combination of personal experiences, series, movies, porn which I like and hyperbole.

Anyway, there are plenty of games with similar vibes.

I recently played https://f95zone.to/threads/dr-amana-sexual-therapist-v2-0-0p-ianvs.7679/ and I enjoyed it quite a bit, but it is sadly abandoned.

This one https://f95zone.to/threads/the-personal-assistant-v0-25c-jl-creation.22983/post-2959920, also abandoned has very nice psychology going on. And the protagonist is SUPER CUTE.

Finally in this one https://f95zone.to/threads/devins-life-3-31-20-taboo.7064/, abandoned of course, the blonde antagonist bitch is actually the kind of devilish son of a bitch I was looking for. But the rest of the game is quite hentai-like. In any case is worth playing just for her tiny bits.

I kind of see a pattern that most games which I like end up being abandoned =D

The Dev of Dr Amana recently made a post stating that he has transferred all the game assets and the patreon page to a friend of his. So all hope is not lost. With another Dev it might not be the same game anymore but I'll take that over an abandoned game anytime.

Regarding the next update, I'm happy that Paula will be the main focus. I can't wait to see what we can do to her !
