(clarifying a bit on the development plan for whoever interested)
Dev Plan
I plan on two sort of updates and the development time varies depending on which I am working on.
- Non-story updates
Basically events that focus on the character interactions with others and could be scrapped out of the story w/o major issues.
They are simpler because they are linear and easier to write. Pre-conditions to the event happening are set in stone, etc.
Updates of this kind can be 'fast paced', but I am against providing an update that feels lack-luster for its lack of content. So, expect slow updates (1.5, 2 months in average).
- Story updates
These are trickier. I have to keep in mind different scenarios depending on the previous interactions (the level of the characters they interact with) and their traits. I really, really, really want to keep the decision making consistent. Dialogs, expressions, body language, etc. should match as well.
Besides, an story update w/o enough content feels really bad. And lots of exposition w/o any 'action' feels even worse.
Here expect the time of a non-story update, because it should have at least that amount of content, plus some extra time for its complexity.

Usability updates (no content)
Unfortunately this has to be done as well. I say unfortunately because it involves no content and I tend to procrastinate out of it.
For instance, I am not that happy with the time transitions. It is not that clear when time passes. This is a simple one, but needs to be done.
And I also want to include some tool-tips to the events to hint whenever there are variations, which stats are raised and so on.
Summary
I would like to have the season 1 finished by the end of the year. I am unsure to be honest since it is difficult to plan free time.
There should be a couple of update packages focusing on some character interactions based on whatever people likes the most. I might do some polls or things like that based on the popularity. Otherwise I'd just choose whatever from a hat with paper names =D
I cannot give full figures but I hope I will refine the process in-between. First game, first mistakes, lots to be learned, etc.
