It's not a new button, it's the doorway one in the top right that lets you got to a different part of the house.
Using it after you cum during the outdoor scene with mom allows you to jump to the hallway and start the scene with Julia in her bedroom without moving forward in time, if you just let the scene with mom run it forces you to sleep.
