Yeah, I get the same thing and have tried every combination of cheat parameters to fix to no avail. This seems to be a gamebreaking bug.
Yes. I have been using the mod menu cheat but it hasnt given me problems until now. Ill try playing the game without it to see if it works. Thanks.

Currently I have Jason with an energy level of 75. Cant for the life of me increase his energy pass this level. I know you can because i have done it before. Does anyone have a list of all the ways to increase Jasons energy levels?

You should be able to get +10 energy when you complete the living room foursome the first time.

When i need to get the cheerleader uniform for Julia, the option to ask for the uniform for Adrianna doesn't appear, no matter what. Am I missing something or is it a bug! I did everything up to that point.

go to your appdata folder where you'll find roaming folder than go to locallow folder and find the KST games folder. than once in just drop the files there.
Bascially go to, Users>User name( the name of account for computer)>Appdata>Local Low> KsT Games> the twist

Heres what i did, I downloaded the file, changed the name before i put it in the saves folder and replaced the old save with the new one and it worked.

trick is to not directly download into saves folder put it in Kstgames folder first, change name than put in thetwist folder.

anyone having trouble with slow loading??? like it take ages to navigate from one room to another ....arghhhhhhhhhh
Define slow? it takes between 3-5 seconds to load between scenes in general for me, though its quite dependent on system specs~
Its a known fact loading times have increased over time though.
Yes, they should generally work fine for newer versions
I do wonder if the percentage chance calculations for events in locations is having affecting some of the loading times for those areas.
I remember when the Hospital outside area was introduced, that did have a negative effect on loading time for the area on my older machine, but some older areas have gotten a little longer to load that didn't before.
