trick is to not directly download into saves folder put it in Kstgames folder first, change name than put in thetwist folder.

anyone having trouble with slow loading??? like it take ages to navigate from one room to another ....arghhhhhhhhhh
Define slow? it takes between 3-5 seconds to load between scenes in general for me, though its quite dependent on system specs~
Its a known fact loading times have increased over time though.
Yes, they should generally work fine for newer versions
I do wonder if the percentage chance calculations for events in locations is having affecting some of the loading times for those areas.
I remember when the Hospital outside area was introduced, that did have a negative effect on loading time for the area on my older machine, but some older areas have gotten a little longer to load that didn't before.
The random call itself is pretty cheap, however when loading a scene every part has to be loaded even if its not displayed
So there is overhead from that loading models from disk and creating every part of the scene.
I think the main reason its getting slower is due to how the game is implemented, it feels more like a prototype, this in effect makes it less scalable and also is the reason bugs pop up so often after each update
It's something that happens when Jason's participating in Danielle's camshows. It's not guaranteed to happen each time, but it can.

is there a bug on the birthday event? for me the time doesn't change, then character says
"hmm... mum not in her bed I wonder where she could be."
my problem is my time hasn't adjusted so if I started the event at 15:00 time still says 15:00, if I do it later like 19:00 it says 19:00, but the game is now in night time so when I move to other rooms it says i'm tired must go to bed. I cannot rest either because he says he can't get caught by his mum at this time.

i somehow cant load saves on the start screen. Whenever i press "load save" the UI just disappears

There's more then a dozen 0.28 saves floating around, go to the top right Search for "0.28 save" and select this thread
It actually seems far worse this time round, with all the "saves? saves plz" spam.
So much so my ignore list is growing faster than the libido of a gerbil on viagra.
I've just downloaded Thetwist and wanted to import save files from0.28v and had the same problem, when i clicked load the whole load screen dissapeard. I deleted save files from appdata folder clicked new game saved new game and load screen normaly worked so i imported save files from internet and it normaly works.
