I just don't know why he doesn't move on to the seaside mystery and keeps working on this. It's outdated by his own new project. It was a great game but it's better to move on to a better project rather than keep making the outdated one unnecessarily bloated.

The same reason Roundscape Adorevia keeps getting new content well after the game has "finished". Money.

The chance that enough patrons won't stick around for a "sufficient" level of playable content to come out for Seaside Mystery. It's a reasonable concern, as there's already people who will patronise for a short time, stop their patronage, and return at a later date.

That's not to say that it's based on greed, but purely a reasonably valid concern over long term income.

You do know he's working on a new game? You do know it's already past the tech demo phase etc...?
Updates to The Twist is to brush (and finish) up the game.
Just to make sure you know what you're talking about. I kinda got the feeling you don't.

For now I've only tested it with the new scenes, which did appear. I will when I have time, check if it will work with the old scene. but that does mean starting a new game.

Sorry to tell you this, but your computer/laptop will never be able to play this game. The game is horrible coded and your computer/laptop's hardware is outdated. From the error crash you can see that you literally out of memory (RAM) either occupied by Windows and/or the game.

Better to move on and play something else.

Well, that is kinda bad since this is only 1 year machine with a 16 GB of Ram / GTX 1660 with 8 GB of memory / i-7 9700F core - if that doesn't make standards I don't know what machine will

I think I found the issue - had to run thetwist.exe - force -opengl - seems to be an issue with NVDIA cards and Unity 2017
