Female protagonists in RPGM games who just get raped constantly. Literally every interaction is some guy who doesn't care about consent, is creepy and rapey with no loving relationships. You often have to lose to get cutscenes which is the opposite of what my gamer brain wants to do. It would be nice to play a promiscuous women for a change who actually consents to at least a good margin of the sex.

Im tired of seeing girls with YE-YE ass skrillex haircut. Here is more about what i hate seeing in video games(which sadly includes VN porn games too) are in this Asmongold TV reaction video;

"Political and social commentary is like CGI in movies or TV. When it's good, it's barely noticeable, but when it's bad, it's glaringly obvious. "
some commenter wrote this. I whole heartedly agree with them.

New one for me lately is "Your best friend screwed/wants to screw you over and stole/steal your girl." There's a few games where its guys helping each other score without full frat bro. I think Leap of Faith and Acting Lessons are some good examples. I'm not dissing NTR, it just gets tiring seeing authors pick that one angle over and over.
The corollary to this is the mc instantly hates his "friends" from the get go. The narrative expositions will be stuff like "he's such a douchebag, I hate him." (University of Prob, etc)

I don't want to roleplay as a snivelling whiny kunt, why can't more games just have bros being bros with each other....LoP and BaD are great in this regard.

Then there's the opposite side, where the narrative is telling you that some guy is your best friend, but he treats you like garbage and constantly tries to snipe your L.I.s (Our Red String, etc)

In line with that it is insane how easy the girls put out for the guy trying to steal her. So, you end up in a scenario where you can spend an inordinate amount of time getting the perfect responses and collecting flags and you might get a missionary scene; but fail once and he will introduce himself and within the hour she's throwing up peace signs while taking it up the ass.

Sorry mate but what the hell are you talking about? Do you genuinely know any game in this god-forsaken place that includes political commentary? Like, for real?

If you really do please give me names, I'm genuinely interested, don't matter how bad they are.

That's my main problem with the Harem genre, I can't get my head on how a bunch of women (or men) gets so hypnotized by the magic dick of the MC, swear eternal love, gets out of her/his house and fucks the next one that lives one block away. I could make my game an harem, sandboxes are perfect for that, but no, I went on the one LI route, locking the others as soon as a storyline is started.
I think that just comes down to sloppy writing, lack of world-building, and no character development.
The question arises, "how would two or more harem members interact with each other in a realistic contemporary setting? What are their motives and reasons for choosing such a lifestyle that's extremely uncommon and taboo in most of the world? How does this impact their day-to-day lives inside and outside of the harem?"
The answer most developers give is, "they don't interact with each other. Because they like MC. it doesn't." I think that's just utterly lazy and quite boring.

Yes, harems are easier to write in fantasy settings; you can throw multiple reasons like women outnumber men, the reason they outnumber men are that the society was or still is very war based, and the man is more prone to go to war and die in it, therefor the human-like species ended up normalizing a singular guy impregnating and forming a relationship with multiple women. Or maybe the way the species evolved because of this causes more women to be born as fail-safe for the common male population drops. Men can impregnate multiple women or something like that. Or one could go in the direction of more fantasy races that consist solely of women that repopulate by interspecies breeding. In a xenophilic society, this could possibly create a culture of men forming relationships with other women. These are just a few ideas I thought up but there are plenty of others one could create.

And as a part of that, you can write how the harem dynamic works. Do they not interact with each other? (boring + cringe). Is there a hierarchy? Is that hierarchy based on seniority, age, species, or might? Maybe they are equal sister wives? Is it a competition? How big are the harems? Are they large enough that everyone takes a role and acts like a small village with specializations? What role does the guy play? Is the seen as the leader? Or maybe this is a legal or moral obligation and he's forced into that role? If an outside man is effeminate, would he be a harem owner, or would society expect him to play a role as a harem member? Is their intersex/futa species in the universe? What role do they play? There are SO many ways you can play with the concept. It's honestly disappointing as fuck that most games don't even try to do something like that.

In a contemporary western setting, this would, of course, be way harder, but even most modern games play around with fantasy concepts. But for this idea, let's say it's purely "realistic." I'd say implementing a "real" harem would be hard, but maybe the MC has a cuckquean wife and isn't afraid or encourages an emotional relationship with the vixens. Maybe she trusts them enough because they're friends. Or maybe MC finds his way into a formerly lesbian relationship that went polyamorous. Larger harems would rely on a lot of disbelief but I still think you could make them grounded enough.

Well, that's my rant about why I'm disappointed by 99% of harem games.

For me, the appeal of harem games is that you can see most/all content without having to replay. It's enough of a motive for me to suspend disbelief. Because I pretty much don't replay games (mainstream or adult). Or reread books, rewatch movies or TV shows either. Unless I really enjoyed them and enough time has passed that I've forgotten enough details for it to be enjoyable.

I'm sure I'm missing out on some really good adult games, but sitting through mostly the same story/plot more than once is really boring to me. Maybe because I have three younger siblings and effectively memorized most Disney movies from the 80s and 90s. :ROFLMAO:

I really would like to see more games which trying to crazily engage with all the characters would give consequences for the player.
And this is precisely why I prefer harem games to any other type of game where you could potentially get all/many girls. I don't want that kind of drama. :cautious:

You don't even need to go that far, I think there are communities in the US that allow a man marrying multiple women at the same time, but as you say, there's the thing about the wives interacting with each other. And let's face it, women won't stay quiet and silent until the MC comes back home. No, there will be drama between them. A lot.

I'm the opposite, I'm the type of player that re-plays a game, or re-watch a movie many times xD , however, I can understand how annoying is to grind 10000 hours just to get one BJ scene, I constantly try to minimize the grinding in my game precisely for that.

And this is precisely why I prefer harem games to any other type of game where you could potentially get all/many girls. I don't want that kind of drama. :cautious:
Come on, even I know that women and drama cannot be separated, especially when two or more gather together :ROFLMAO: . But it gets tiring, so I can relate.

What elements of the game, sexual action or characters do you not want to see in the new adult game you want to play. For me, it's a game that asks you to grind hard or just have sex without stepping up. It's also the mc with horse cock, the constant blow jobs, and the characters with too huge of proportions like gigantic tits and ass.

  • I would not want it to be a game but an interactive sandbox instead. Tired of "game" mechanics for porn.
  • Gigantic body proportions (not customizable)
  • Futa, trans... gender dysphoria stuff.
  • Cum that looks like white paint.
  • Horses with wrong legs. (mostly on SFM stuff, tbh)
  • Ponytail hair for female character (non customizable)
  • Warrior girl
  • Monster girl
  • Demon girl
  • Alien girl
  • Furries
  • "Chibi" (small body, big head)
  • Japanese sounds
  • 2D to 3D hentai (weird looking, colorful anime characters)
  • Non customizable characters
  • Fit male characters.
  • Any type of anthropomorphic characters.

The rest are paraphilias I'm not interested.

That goddamn "Male MC takes the females to buy clothes" scene. The girls are so grateful, as if they never figured out the complex rituals of buying cloths and the universe has suddenly graced them with savior who is familiar with this rare knowledge.

The seller is a hot girl who... surprise surprise... flirts with the MC (if it's a slow burn AVN) or allows him to fuck her in the ass there and then (otherwise). In the booths the MC can peek on the girls and maybe select an outfit that will be used later.

What a waste of time and resources which could be used for a yoga scene (where the MC who has zero experience with yoga is asked to assist ladies with years of experience).

>"yeah [mc] just pull my-"
>MC proceeds to dislocate both her shoulders
>entire scene turns into an extensive hospital visit
>MC fucks one of the nurses.

I think the point of making GAMES and any fictational product is to achieve things you can't IRL. This is I suppose especially true when it comes to porn.

I mean if you're gonna have a normal porn game with normal stuff you might as well watch porn. Can't get any more normal than that.
The "point" of entertainment, pornographic or otherwise, is to be entertaining. That does not require it to portray things that aren't possible in reality. And considering most people on this site, having sex at all is already a fantastical enough proposition.

I disagree with this because I love seeing the LIs wear different types of clothes with different levels of exposure. Yes the trope with the cashier also being a sexy woman flirting with MC is kinda tired, but I can't get enough of shopping scenes in games.

It is annoying however when the game doesn't let you pick what clothes you want the LI to wear, and if the article of clothing is never worn again for the rest of the story.

Used up the "like" ration for today but agree completely. Porn standards have plummeted in the last 10 years & they weren't that great to start with. 3D renders are nicer but what is portrayed is like looking through a distortion mirror. One improvement, readily available to 3D artists IMO, would be to dial back on the gross proportions. If this was accompanied by a demonstrable understanding of how the sex act works in RL, things might improve.
