There was a game (I honestly can't remember the name) where there was a scene with 2 girls, one had, had a once off encounter with MC earlier but was clearly closed off as LI's long before this scene. The scene had absolutely nothing to do with story or characters or anything, it was just thrown in to to up the lewds count. All I could think was wtf are we seeing this, it's not relevant, the girls have zero interaction with the MC or the main characters since the introduction.

It's like watching a movie, and suddenly the story cuts to a scene of the random no named girl, that gave the hero drunken head in bar toilet, getting jiggy with some other unnamed person, just to get the sex scene count up, and then cuts back to the story.

Touche' I was born in 75, grew up in the 80s. TnA and sex scenes are always a part of my growing up at the cinema days. So to me it makes sense to have them, especially in adult VNs centered around sex.

I understand being sensitive about LIs with other men but come on, nothing wrong with a good ole sex scene out of no where.

If it's story related cool, or the MC spying or something, but when you just a fly on the wall to some random scene it detracts from it imo, especially on good story driven VN's. If it's just a bunch of shagging thrown together in some loose story, well then no worries. but we digress.

I know you're salty over Audrey, but what do you think of the new girl?

I really disliked the Audrey and the new girl is meh, to me. Another one to just ignore.

She is ok. I don't hate her nor do I love her. I honestly think I'm still kind of in shock from the departure. It felt so surreal replaying to have a playthrough without her at all. I want "you know who" out of my mc's house :mad: :LOL:

Yeah that's "her plan" atleast, hopefully that will not pass. And yeah that cat is always welcomed ;)

I think this is the game I've so far spent the most hours in, still not onto season 2 yet but I really like the style, i'm running with the "Recommended Option" mod for this play through and it really does help and unlock everything. I thought my favourite was Goldy the first time but Lauren is growing on me ;)

Very sad about Audrey leaving. At first I felt it had potential to be a major plot point or twist but after reading the last 3 pages posts in this thread regarding the subject it appears she's being completely 86'd from the game and it honestly breaks my heart. She was an intense and obsessive character to be sure but her departure is so empty it leaves me baffled as to why her character even existed. Perhaps the character is too much a reminder of a real person, I get how difficult (as an artist, creator myself) maybe even painful it might be to continue with the character if that is the case but it seems so horribly limiting and destructive of the overall created work to so thoroughly and abruptly discard such a beautifully complex character in the story being told.

i downloaded the season 1 game and the season 1 game mod, and when i got to where the MC and jenna are just finished at the cinema and u get the choice of either touching her ass or boob.
the game then goes dark a little bit after your choice and just say special edition and then im back at the main menu.
wtf.
edit: I got it to work now somehow, i downloaded the same mod and overwrite the one that was on the game. Bug jeezes.

Why so many bad reviews. Is it because Audrey leaving or the game is actually bad? I played this a while back, up until Ep5 I think and its alright. Is it going down hill from there?

Idk tbh. Audrey's exit upset me, but I still enjoy the vn

I wouldn't think her leaving would have done that much damage.

Quite a lot of us gave up on her much earlier when she changed from hot to hooker.

Hey Ava, there's a lot of speculation but it seems like Audrey was modelled after some personal acquaintance to the developer and well... it got too personal. At first he tried to salvage her character through a dramatic makeover but in the end was forced to drop her all together. Very unfortunate as I was helping with the proof reading and it meant the end of the game for me, but I have to respect his decision.
