Afaik 17.5 was not shared here.

I have 17.4 installed, that means the update only for 17.6 is useless, bebause 17.5 is missing. I am correct?

from now on my android ports of Ren'Py games have a 2nd, persistent save location like windows. if you uninstall an app, the save files and persistent data remain intact.
therefore the app needs the permission to access the public external storage (or a new one on Android 11 :FacePalm:), because it has to read and write outside its own external storage directories.
you have to grant the permission or the app is shut down.

hi everyone - looking for some help or an explanation, I've downloaded the game a few times but when I start it (having never played it) the first thing that happens is I get a bunch of questions like did I shag such and such at a party or did I kiss someone on first date - I presume this should not happen so how do I just start the game at the beginning?

Second season starts after the 1st ... you had your relationships and your adventures.
Now, on second season you can change things up or go further your adventure.
