I've always thought saves from moded games aren't compatible with base games.I'm getting an error trying to load any previous save. I was playing using Sancho Mod but doubt it's related
I don't think there were any choices for the MC on day 6, turning it from a VN with branching paths into a straight line VN is certainly one way to reduce dev time needed.

Either wait for me to update the mod... or if impatient use the "SaveFixer" in the mod's OP. If you use the SaveFixer and later want to mod the VN with the pending mod update then you MUST delete the SaveFixer file BEFORE you mod the VN... they don't play nice with each other.I'm getting an error trying to load any previous save. Look here.I guess I'll wait for the mod to be updated then, also idk if you ever fixed it but I remember the money cheat for the mod not being useful since when I played I had more money than it set the entire time, might want to update the set amount so the cheat is somewhat relevant.

It's only meant for early game while shopping really, it's for use if you're broke... it's not needed at all but folks kept asking so I put it there. Money isn't an issue for sure... but folks get bent over silly shit sometimes, and minor things like adding that is sometimes easier than describing why it's redundant. It's not intended to make you an instant millionaire, it's now there just in case you find your pockets inside out in the future... there's some relief.
This also insures I don't break anything in the VN... there's enough shit broken that I keep fixing without me adding to the fire. I have no idea of the dev's motives for much of the story so I must be careful with "cheats" so as to not fuck up save files going forward.
So, did the "Load" option from the save game screen get removed, or is there something weird with my end? If it was removed, please put it back next go-round. It's annoying as hell to try to load a save from the start of the game, get an error, and have to exit and reload the game just to get the ability to try again to load a save. If it is on my end, it is the first time I have seen Ren'Py do this.

It's never had one. SanchoMod has always had one in lieu of the missing option unmodded. It adds a way to access it via a button though, pressing the toggle switches from "Save" to "Load" screens:
