First, some words about the things that we have done this year:
This year turned out to be very productive. We managed to do many things, learned a lot and began to understand the way the game should look.
The game has finally found its own style, which we like and which we are going to work with. Drawing, animation, sprite characters, locations - all of them have undergone certain changes. Of course, that led to a series of forced edits of ready-made content, but it seems to us that the game has only benefited from that, since we want the overall style of the game to cover the whole game through. In the future, we will try to improve the quality of the game, but that mostly relates to the further plot development.
We would also like to say that this year we have devoted most of our time to working on the technical aspect of the game, and only some time to the plot. But that concerns only the game. We did a lot of work on rewriting, revising and improving the plot “on paper”, so the development of the plot doesn’t stand still, you just haven’t seen it yet :-D But we have decided to devote most of our time to the story in 2019. Fortunately, we’ve got everything we need to do that now.
A few words about the sprite characters and other things related to them. We have mastered Blender at some level and learned how to make animations. We like the possibilities it gives us. And finally, we can show the game events not only with dialogues or static sprite characters in locations, but also with animated sprite scenes that we didn’t have before. It will help us to bring more colors and emotions into the game.
If we sum up what have been done over this year, we will have the following list:
- The continuation of the plot of the first chapter;
- A lot of new locations for future events, as well as improved old locations;
- Updated appearance of the sprite characters, the replacement of all scenes and other sprite animations in the prologue;
- The first animated interactive sex scenes and the basis for the sex system;
- Introduction of the new interface. Journal, quests, menu of characteristics, improvement of the inventory and many minor interface elements, such as mini-games, animated progress bars, and others. I won’t write about all of them, otherwise there will be one more huge list :-D
- But I would like to mark out the menu of credits. I hope you enjoyed it
- City maps and system for movements around the cities;
- A detailed work on the atmosphere of the locations (animation of the environment, light, background sounds and music);
- Expansion of the prologue and addition of the main story arch for Sardo;
- Refinement of the appearance of the characters;
- A lot of new plot characters and their emotions;
- Time system with the change of day and night;
- Changed game localization system;
- Optimization of the game and correction of a large number of minor issues, as well as reducing the weight of the graphic part of 4 times. This will also greatly contribute to the smooth operation of the game on any computer;
In addition to all things that I have listed above, there are some other things that we worked on but we haven’t uploaded them into the game yet because they aren’t completely ready. But many of those things you will find in the game in 2019, as they relate mainly to the further development of the plot.
Next year we plan to immerse ourselves into the development of the storyline, the life of the estate, various scenes, events, adventures and so on. Also, the game will have a business system, a combat system, and many others that we planned some time ago. I’m not going to write too much about that, it will be better if we surprise you with the results that have been achieved. The results that can be tested, not just read
Now, let’s move on to the current update:
In this update, we focused on the sprite characters and prologue scenes, and at the same time we practiced in creating animated scenes
The result seems to be good. Here is what we have done:
- We have completely finished the replacement of the sprite characters and the improvement of the prologue scenes for Sardo and Elli. In total, we have prepared and uploaded about 130 new sprite lists with character animations this month. Not to mention that we replaced a large number of static scenes that don’t have animation. We tried to replace everything, but if all of a sudden you find any mistakes or see an old sprite character, let us know by mailing to us (

- We have downloaded all the animations of the environment, both in the prologue, and in all currently available locations. There are lots of animations now. Just to clarify what I mean, these animations relate to water, fountains, burning torches and other sources of lighting, as well as various minor things such as flags, fog, smoke that comes out of chimneys and other things;
- We have prepared and uploaded sounds and music of the locations for different times of the day;
- The game graphics have been optimized. Thanks to the fact that some players from the F95 forum came across the crutched version of our game (a crutched graphics with image quality loss), which was done by one of the forum users, we decided to convert the game graphics without losing its quality and as a result the weight of the graphic resources of the game has decreased from 2.5 GB to 700 MB - a little more than by 4 times. That also significantly affected the speed of the game, since the loading of graphics goes much faster than before;
- The issues with the lack of sex scenes animations in the brothel have been corrected. To be more precise, they didn’t show up at all :-D And that fact made us feel sad because we didn’t have time to check that part of the game before the release;
- The issue that some players had when entering the credits menu has been fixed;
