Hello everyone!
So, how have my affairs progressed since the last dev blog:
We've almost finished the work on the launcher: the functions for downloading, updating, and verifying files are already working. There's just a bit more to do, after which I plan to send it for testing to make sure everything functions perfectly.
(We plan to implement a cloud save feature in the launcher. This will allow you to recover your files if you accidentally delete them or lose access. Simply log into your account, and the launcher will automatically download everything needed.)
As for the renders, they are also almost ready. There's a scene in the workshop that I need to go back to and make some adjustments. It won't take much time. After that, I'll be able to do the final check of the renders to ensure there are no errors.
Fortunately, most scenes are already scripted in Renpy, which has significantly eased the process. I don't really like adding a lot of scenes at once—I start getting confused and making mistakes.
Now, regarding the release. I've decided not to rush, to thoroughly check everything, and to make sure that everything works perfectly. Last time, I hurried, and unfortunately, I made quite a few errors. Therefore, this time, I'm aiming for a release in the middle or end of April, though it may happen earlier.
