does it still do this if you run the game in windowed mode? unfortunately we dont have borderless windowed mode in the game, and its set to pause the entire game when in the background i think to not use your pc resources.

It does indeed do it in both windowed and fullscreen. Not really an issue but I was just curious if there was some type of console workaround or a setting I had missed. Appreciate the quick response and I'll continue to support your high quality work!

Nah i think you just managed to somehow reach the inventory panel , its hiddne on the left side, you must be playing in an interesting resolution to make that happen, or you closed the inventory while your mouse was on an item, i dont know, but that shouldnt cause any problems
