So I downloaded this game for the first time and it doesn't work. After I type my name in it freezes in the 8th intro and crashes. Tried it multiple times. It's nothing to do with my laptop specs. I have a 16GB RAM plus a 6GB GTX 1060 graphics card and 3.4GHz CPU.

Well there isn't all that much I can say. Idk if there is a 64bit edition of the game but I have the 32 bit edition and my CPU is a 64bit processor. Besides that I have Windows 10 on it. I have played other Unity VN games before as well.
1. Are you using a custom translation file, if so, is it the correct version
2. Did you install the x86 redist file inside the Unconditional Love_Data/StreamingAssets/ ?

I did download it here, and it is asking for a password. It gets to 88% then asks for a password. Not sure why it's doing it.

I can confirm that all games you can download here from this site , don't require any kind of password. Not for TimeStamps , not for the other games ; i think you are making some wrong procedure , or do you have some protection maybe in your laptop...

The incest patch always was for this one though. And it caused the usual ruckus for people who tried to apply it routinely and not reading its description. How many times it was told that this isn't to be extracted? The deleted posts included? Anyone care to make a guess? I sure don't.

Because it wasn't meant to be, so it wasn't really password protected. And I agree with not trying to count!
However, I guarded against even that when I qualified my statement with "game" file. Patches and mods, I don't speak for.

The translation file is the unrated english.zip file for the incest patch. I tried installing it but I already have 2015-2019 edition and it prevents the installation of the one given by the game.
The 2015-2019 versions are not replacements for the others, they contain different things thats why you need the specific version, if it prevents you from installing it there must be some other reason, unless you already have a defective one installed.
There is no issue we can't try to solve here, at least this one we have figured out eventually when helping people

I don't know why but it is, I downloaded it from the Mega link on the first page. The zip downloads some of the game and then asks for a password. Don't know why it is doing it, but hasn't for any other games. I am just going to try redownloading it.
I tried reinstalling it and it works now. Guess something went wrong in the extraction process. 2015 C++ REDIS is whats required and I already had a later version of 2015 installed so I knew that wasn't the problem. So maybe a file was missing? Ok , i understand.
I suggest you like you wrote before , to reinstall the game... The right version is 0.5.2PE , just download from MEGA for example ,extract the files and run. No password needed.
Start the game to verify that all works normally ; only after this verification , if you want ,you can download the patch incest file , that you can find in the OP :
DO NOT EXTRACT - It's not meant to be extracted just copy the file as is to the right folder :
PC: "Unconditional Love_Data/LANGUAGES" folder.
After that you copied the patch , start the game and in main menu in the right side , click the Unrated English Flag to make start the incest patch
I just finished the game and realized that none of scenes have been unlocked, the "Gallery" button is greyed out... Any way to fix it?
