And about last news from Patreon page, My condolences to that team member. It really is hard to lose anyone who you know and especially is painful when you lose someone from a family.

My condolences to the team member. Family comes first.
It seems like being an adult game developer is a very risky job. Every second delay is caused by the computer breaking down and all datas on it can`t be restored and every third because the developer or one of his family went to the hospital (died). very dangerous job !!!
in NORMAL teams, if someone cannot do their work for similar reasons, his colleagues help him, and here whole team mourning ... Have you ever heard that large companies say that we delay the release of our product because our accountant is sick or our analyst lost his grandmother! ??? NEVER... so this is a stupid excuse from the developer !!! this information not disclose out of respect for the bereaved person
but here the developer don`t respect any colleagues or subscribers!

Hi everyone, We planned a release this weekend, but due to unforeseen circumstances we have had to delay One of the team has suffered a bereavement of a close family member, so we have had to delay the release.
We apologise for this, but in the opinion of the team family comes first, we hope you all understand our decision. In the meantime, the rest of the team will continue to work on additional content, and some Christmas renders of the girls outside of the game.
Thank you all again for your continued support and patience.
While we appreciate that many of you would like to offer your condolences, could we ask you to please not ask which member of the team it was, again thanks for your understanding.

When someone is making a game, unlike you who is probably a casual PC user their rig will be running 24/7, so it will have a tendency to break down a lot more than a casual users rig, and because they are independent it will probably be the only machine they have, so they will need time to repair or replace the parts
As for someone going into hospital or passing away, you make the comparison of a small team of maybe 1-5 people, to a large company which has assets to spare and people to take their place, if it's a one-man-band, do you think they can just go outside and grab someone off the street and ask them to replace them, no they can't, so again the comparison isn't a good one
Again you say it's a stupid excuse and that it shouldn't be disclosed, again making a sweeping statement about something which you know nothing about, whatever was said no one was going to believe it, but the team made a decision to be completely transparent with their PATRONS
Until you work on an independent game like this, you have no real insight into what goes into it or the pressure a single dev is under, so please keep your opinions to yourself
To put this in a nutshell, a friend of mine recently lost a family member so close to Christmas, rather than respecting a person mourning over a loved one, people here are more bothered that they won't be able to fap to a CG image this Christmas

Dude, how can you compare an underpaid team of (maybe) 5 guys working in their spare time to "large companies" staffed with professionals on salary?
Kind of like "shit, Drew Brees threw 4 touchdowns. Why the hell can't you?"
Why do I say underpaid? They're getting $5500/month. That's not a decent salary for 1 engineer, never mind a team.

Reading is fundamental. Haha. I know Motz continues work on art as Sgt. Vngine does his thing, etc. Its continuous....but one cog can delay a release if it is fundamental in bug fixing...testing...etc. That shouldn't be hard to understand.
