In Steam forum Itroy said that "Game isn't abandoned. Just gonna be several more months before the next DLC. But I'll be sure to announce something on that when I have a good idea on the release date."

He complained a couple of months back that support for the game had dropped. Wonder what 19 months between updates will do for it...
Just finished this game going in blind for the first time. Good stuff, setting and the girls are well done, shame about the inevitable harem funneling of it all though. Having different routes with different outcomes in the story for each girl would be really cool, but then again it would take way too many rewrites/branching. Maybe something like Bare Witness where you can have a harem with one or more girls, but some of them will be locked to a monogamous route? Wishful thinking.
Not that any of this matters though since given all the doomposting and announcements from the dev this game is not getting an update in a long while and if we're being real unlikely to ever get a proper ending. At least it has a good chunk of content for 4 years of development so there's that.
Anyway happy new year everybody stay safe and may 2025 bring finished projects and more competent devs!

Close Game.
Unzip into the folder called 'game'.
Overwrite if prompted.
Reopen game.

Why wouldn't it be?
Just make sure the files inside the folder called 'game' in the file are in the folder called 'game' on your drive.
Don't put the whole thing in the game folder (that will just create subfolders in the wrong place).

That password will be outdated. You need the password that matches the version you are using. They are all listed in the OP under Unlock Gallery.

The guy is through and through a politician, early on he is trying to make the MC look bad before the King, later on he plays his own game wanting to get his ass on the throne and using the MC.
Also depends of what choices you make, if you ally with him the MC gets actually along with him, at least until his play for the throne, as well as MC's (very likely wrong) suspicions of him helping the east.
Marius is an arrogant, self important prick, with no no abilities, knowledge, deeds or really anything to back it up.
He is also quite hostile towards the MC early on, even if you have nothing with his sisters.
And he makes a lot of really stupid mistakes, which lead to things like his sisters kidnapping, or the execution of the kidnappes without getting any intel.
Marius not wanting doing his job as heir, be it preparing for his rule, being a military leader or important alliances through marriage.
Also the MC is doing his job as good as he can imo, he just arrived having no knowledge about court intrigue or loyal men he can trust and well, he's a general, not a spymaster.
Actually it's Marious which makes the problems...
IIRC the king was really pissed at Marius as he found out that it was actually his doing, but the king seems later on mentally not well, as is mentioned by both, the MC and the other general Nicabar

aris is annoying who wants to be ruler while mc just sits on throne as figurehead.
marius is jut an idiot and he doesn't want to be king, he just wants to play with his lover etc.
well king was more or less senile and idiot.
The last I checked, this ISN'T a kinetic novel. You, playing as the MC have to CHOOSE to sleep with anyone. What are you so mad about?? The DEV for giving you the options... or yourself for taking them??...

Dude, you realize it's the viking age...not great on human rights back than or anything, especially if you are accused of kidnapping the princess...i like Estrids methode of smashing the knee with a mace.
Yeah they search houses for some of the plotters, so one of the soldiers restrains her (simply restraining her hands behind her back) as she doesn't want to corporate...pretty much what the police nowdays would do, whats even your point.
He makes sure they are all guarded, including the men, if you somehow missed the preparations for the kings speech.
But you realize this is about romancing the girls yes ? Not half the update how he does his duty.
And why would he spent more time than neccesary with Marius ? He is a prick for the most time and you can be understanding with Marius, if you choose so.

What does it matter if you call it viking age or early medival period...torture was commen in kingdoms as well in that time, that has nothing to do with vikings.
The MC is roman, they as well were not shy of using violence, torture or collective punishments either.
The highest law is the king, the MC as a general and in command of the security of the royal family has every right to search houses or arrest people, that comes with this job. Also battery ? they hold her hands while the MC talks to her, she ain't hurt in any way.
They were accused of being involved/planing in the kidnapping of Cassia, as well as responsible for attacking and wounding Marius the heir...

The time he got hurt was early on when he snuck out, also he is the heir, a normal soldier will hardly restrain him if he tells him to step back.
