There is a difference between forbidden fruit and banging the whole family. The first games are rare, later way too common giving rather bad reputation to incest games. It is like saying there are too many blonds and milfs and games without them are needed.
Some of these things really are overused. For example, another credit to this game, there are too many 18-year-old MCs, and more adults are needed. Or too many women with boobs bigger than heads. Or that every Honey Select game has the exact same MC model (only difference is glasses or not), that needs to diversify (they have no problems making varied males, but that MC is always the only one MC as if everyone has agreed that that's the designated MC). Actually, Daz MCs have become samey too, always that same "cool guy" with that same haircut.

It doesn't make sense simply because I as a player, I make decisions in the game. And if one of those decisions is not respected? Well, I don't know what to think.
I'm in full agreement that it's jarring from a "respecting player agency" perspective. The explanation of human psychology came afterward.
Can't say, might take a few more days, sooner if we're lucky. You should never use outdated mods, always use the same version as the game, for a bug-free experience.
