Well as i see it. At the moment its a mess..
We have to wait and see how things turn out.
Regardless i can only recommend download the demo if you care about preserving the game or its art.
Its a shame how the situation turned out.
For now i stick to: I am not sad that it seems to be over and be happy that it happend in the first place.
So, I've tried following the guide, but version 1.1 seems different than the version the guy used for the guide, which I'm guessing is 1.0, so does anyone have that older version or know where I can find it? The only versions I can find easily are the patch 1.2 version on the TKAF discord, and the 1.1 version here. Guide's helpful but many of the bosses/enemies in the guy's guide have been changed or buffed, so... yeah.
Edit: Better yet, if someone has a 100% save with all the h-scenes unlocked, that'd also be helpful. Mainly for the v1.1. Thanks in advance.

New rpgmaker game based on their comic idear. The only thing they nuked was Tkaf & any previous Blacksouls related posts/artworks they did.
This game gets really frustrating at times even when I'm following the guide on YT, and I really do not enjoy parts of the game. The art is decent imo, but I really am just interested more in the h-scenes than the gameplay or story. So any gallery save would be nice. Thanks.

Simply mentioning him in the Discord is apparently frowned upon so based off that I can assume;
1. Whatever falling out occured, PsuedoHeaven AKA BloomingMemoir AKA Nidot was probably vindicated/in the right.
2. TKAF (the 'continuation') lowkey sucks outside of the artstyle, and probably will continue to just be a generally bad game with directionless concept.

The "blocking" (It's not even working properly) of his name in the discord server is not something that is "frowned upon", it's more of a local meme. Also the "blocking" of PseudoHeaven's name there was his own suggestion for continuing developing that meme further that was approved by the current server owner.

1.Regardless its a shame because the demo was interesting and the artstyle created a unique atmosphere. On the bright side its not like Nidot is not doing anything anymore. From what i seen they will focus on their original projects. Still i would have liked to see the finished version one day.
2. I am not sure the branding TKAF would or should even apply anymore. Considering that they cant use stuff from the orignial. At that point its more of a TKAF fangame than anything else. So the new devs should probably move on as well and create their own thing even if its just a spiritual successor to the idear. Chasing after a burned down dream is a fools errand.

Adding onto this, after like 5 minutes of research, apparently the reason the original author departed was because of a falling out with the community at large. Generally speaking, he wasnt a fan of the Project Moon/Touhou/Black Souls trashy gatekeeping culture and in many ways he is just right about that. The Western/European Black Souls community based on YouTube and Discord is notoriously insufferable so something like this was to be expected out of a game which shared its fanbase.
If anyone wishes to support the original TKAF author their twitter is still up, but they have made it clear that they didnt wish to work on anymore NSFW projects to deter attracting the same psuedo-fantasy writer crowd.

thats a pretty disingenuous summary of what I said, which sucks to have ignored because I even included context. Black Souls is a very popular game and as such its prone to having good and bad sects in such a large fanbase. Just like LiL, just like F&H. TKAF primarily attracted the bad kind and if that wasnt the case then the game probably wouldve been better off

Adding onto that, TKAF Discord community (for the few of us here actively oversimplifying what I'm saying) just generally appears to be a bad place to be. PsuedoHeaven (original TKAF creator) has not been the only project admin to have left the community or withdrawn themselves from the project entirely. Other developers/contributors, most recently '@ Ground', have left or moved on for a variety of reasons all stemming back to the TKAF (and by extension this Western/European sect of Black Souls/Touhou/Project Moon/LiL/whatever shitty indieNSFWfantasy fans), just overall being argumentative and hostile with eachother.
This is a common and reoccuring trope for the fanbase of these games outside of F95 and it isn't really surprising if you think about it. A lot of people online really made being a fan of Black Souls their entire identity and when you overshare in a community like this people will get hurt.

Ground was the main source of hostile behaviors and arguments and was banned for the reason of the community and the developers realizing that they can't deal with him much longer - if he was aiming to be part of the dev team, he would've had to be in contact with us for at least six months of developing, and if he made things so bad in a month, another five would've been miserable.
Either way, the value of his contribution is questionable, but that is up to Kakite to decide (he mainly contacted him for his updates)
Need to add that his takes were the main reason of PseudoHeaven losing trust to dev team and returning to the server to ban them out of using the original designs. That is something that Ground himself will proudly tell you. I don't know where you even got the info that he just "moved on", as there's no one inside the community who interprets that situation in such a way.
