It's the closest I could get at short notice, plus it's labeled as an android (even though I agree with you as far as definitions go)
I thought I had one of the assets that looks human but with some circuitry evident, but I don't. I'm not really sure why I have this one to be honest, I'm working on a fantasy/medieval AVN

However, my favorite response to such questions: "Android?" would be "No, there is no android in this game, all the characters and LIs are humans." ( which of course not applicable to all games ).

Hrm... No? You get the same action playing as a man than playing as a gay woman, just with 2 different girls (Steff is available for both). Now if you wanted to have more options just because your MC is a man, then sure, you'll be disappointed

IMO that's the wrong mentality for playing Tora Productions adult games in general. They are not so much about the actions but the emotions, relations and narrative. At least, that's what I am most invested about Tora Productions.

If I just want to see actions, I would play those incest harem games.

The 'sandbox' in this game is limited to 3 days and it's used to let the player establish their relationship with their preferred LI. Then you're given some additional time slots to roam around the station and maybe get to know the rest of the crew better. I'd argue that in this case the immersion is reinforced as you choose who you want to talk to and who you prefer to ignore. But the plot will advance all the same regardless what you do with your time, and after day 3 the game is totally linear, the only variation being the sex scenes (or the alternate scenes for celibate paths). So the flow of the story is hardly affected.

If the map screen where you choose where to go was an ugly choice menu with 9 options instead (like the ones in which you choose what to say), you'd feel more immersed?

Not all AVNs are made for that level of immersion. Many have stories to become invested in even if not immersed in. Like other kinds of novels.

The thing is, the openness of sandbox mode is one way to avoid the dreaded, "Kinetic Novel" complaint.

I fully understand why the updates are taking quite some time to make and are quite short in playing time.
But damn it's fustrating.

BECAUSE it's a work of art! The quality is absolutely impeccable. The renders are magnificent, conveying the athomosphere in your guts. The writing is very good, the characters lively.

You have 3 character choices at the start of the game, and each of them has 3 main options for LIs. So, in that sense, it's balanced. In reality, though, the game is more heavily heterosexual than otherwise. 6 of the MC/LI groupings are MF and only 3 are FF.

To be clear, this isn't a "Work out at the gym repeatedly to build up your STR stat so that you can impress the bodybuilder LI" sort of sandbox. This is an "I should spend my time talking to the character I'm interested in" type of sandbox. Nothing is repeated.

I agree that all opinions are valid but still. This opinion reminds me of the guy that said "I stopped watching Terminator the moment I realized it is about time travel. Time travel breaks any movie because it doesn't fit my scientific mindset." Well, thank you for sharing your very personal opinion and taking the time to write why you didn't like the game. Pretty bold of you but thank you. I'm sorry I didn't think ahead and make a game without sandbox. I should have taken your personal taste into account when making this game. Sure will in the next installments.

Toro 7 Ep6 French version released

Hopefully you saw that we released Toro 7 Ep6 last week. That version didn't have the French translation fully finished. I've just uploaded an update that finishes off the French translation.

Very true. In my youth, the term Gynoid was not very common, so fiction just had female androids. If anything using the term gynoid tends to emphasize the idea that their feminine features are the most important, i.e. a sex doll. I've started seeing it a lot more, usually in such things as "gynoid pinup" illustrations (often associated with album covers).
