going to f8 from f7 isn't a feature in the original game, not yet at least

Close enough, but my merger was between F7 and SCp3. Fvlaenix is the one that made F7+F8 (link to his Mega-thread of Patches [Here], look in the ToT section of it).
Now, it would've been cool to work on a Merger patch for all into one, but in the meanwhile, I did get the boot from working with Bo, so there's that... (and decided to focus back on my Blog and my own works if possible).
