So yet another delay without giving a reason why. Now he is not even giving a possible date when it could be finished (not that the previous dates given were accurate).

I don't really mind the delays personally. I'd still rather back them up on this than shell out more for a crappier Unity project. Hell, based on the previews' theme I don't even think I'm going to like the 7th floor's lewds, so I'm totally fine with waiting. Still, if you were on the verge of cancelling, I wouldn't blame you for quitting after that post. It seems kinda rude to post a delay announcement in that manner when the delay is already severe.
They REALLY need to step up their game on this; feature creep seems to be a huge issue for them and everyone's patience has a breaking point, especially when the only real info released are delays and excuses for them, even though they're valid. The very least they could do is posting either more preview pictures/videos, or weekly devlogs of what have they been working on or added over that period of time. I feel like that would at least make it an easier pill to swallow.

130 days ish since the last update.
Also they're recommending we start a new save for the big update but they're releasing Karen, Lily, Cobra, and Scarlett in the first batch then the rest later. Do you think we'll have to start a new save again after to 'properly experience' F2-4? Those are honestly my favourite floors.

and based on what does he set a release date?
like if your work is half way done, you'd say you need 6 - 8 more days to finish, seems understandable.
but in koda and bo's case, it seems they set dates before they even start working, and end up delaying the date endlessly
their way of doing things is beyond the realm of understanding

I haven't been a on there for a while, but the discord members were somewhat more forgiving than we are. Of course, that was before the really egregious delays of 6f and 7f. It becomes increasingly difficult to defend the devs logically besides the old "but the content is worth it!" defense.
There was a time on here too though that complaints were rare. I personally still think many members on this site pull their punches too much with the devs because they are worried the devs will actually abandon the game in the face of criticism.
I don't care about the delays, as long as the result is good. We're dealing with only 2 devs.
ToT is the best game in this genre.
No matter how people get mad with delays, people will always want to play ToT.

delays aside, when the update comes it's always worth it for me,koda and bo do the job right at least, despite the delays, and laziness,and the unorganized way of doing their work.
there's a translator on Patreon called The Holy Chicken/Chicken Translations
he translates the web novel of Re:Zero, he used to drop a chapter at least every week, then started delaying and became a chapter every 2 weeks and now half a chapter in a month, you don't hear from him in a month and then comes assuring the readers he won't abandon translating the novels, and claims he's mostly sick all the time( which is doubtful at this point), he barely keeps in touch with his readers anymore, I've been waiting for next chapter for 2 months now
,koda keeps in touch with the fanbase at the very least if nothing else.
I'm finally back to this thread after a five month absence, and I am absolutely elated to find that I'm less than two full days away from the next delay announcement. This is exciting news for me personally because the original plan was one floor per month--and the project started in late 2017, which means we're just slightly ahead of schedule in regards to staying on the timeline. Shareholders will be pleased to know that we've cleanly passed through the hopeful, communicative veneer phase and are not even half-way through the expected length of Discord sycophancy and the producer's quietly-seething resentment of excitable fans and their very smart, marketable, and especially practical ideas for future content development. The synergy is excellent and, dare I say, unique in the entire history of the Patreon porn game development industry. Better still, the inevitable constantly-sick phase is nowhere to be seen, and we have already easily passed the initial random-absence, hard-drive-failure, and abruptly-moving-to-a-new-city phases unexpectedly (but not unpleasantly!) early in the timeline. And of course, the distribution-of-workload-to-reliable-fans process is going swimmingly, as everyone knows. I'd say that about leaves us with only the continuation of the overambition, the burnout, the family/pet dying, the apologism by mob, moved goalposts, another wave or two or random absence, and either cut content/abandonment or (more ideally) token goals technically if not practically fulfilled.
All working as intended in the Patreon cycle, because you get both payment and affirmation whether you do the work or not. In fact, you're better off NOT doing the work, because getting shit done means no longer being rewarded for your honey. Dragging your feet is all well and good, merely a testament to standard human work ethics. I just wish the dance were more interesting and graceful, as opposed to the banal and pathetic little half-assed jig I've already seen a dozen fucking times. Indie porn games development is still on the rise, and I look forward to being done with this awkward transitional period where it's old enough for the novelty to fail and young enough to be insulting and tedious. It's all so tiresome.

i don't mind the delays much really if we're getting good content. but i'd appreciate if you give a deadline (even if more than you need) and stick to it. its fine if you say release is in June, but you release it in like 22/may. i promise no one will be mad at that lol.
