Look, basicly its Koda if you really want to complain i'll say the only thing you can say is Koda. It happens with triple-A games all the time. Its always one person or parent company that slowly ruins a game. If your gonna complain yell about him. Before he came onto the team the game came out once (about) a month Bo knew his limits but it also shows with his game library of short games, and for his first big game he had it under control. I mostly don't like when people get mad at Bo when he was actually releasing updates on a regular basis with little to no delays. It always happens with hentai games, someone gains a ego and then the game dies. Somehow this one hasn't yet but who know. Probly will then will go for the next one. Try free cities if you really want a game that is good but updates frequently.

I was thinking just CG-wise and not all the rest!Not that unusual for a RPG Maker game actually since most assets are tilesets, charsets, backgrounds, faces, SFW stands etc. Actual event CGs are well below the 1k range and mostly layered variations of the same CG, if you also count the 'sexy' stands and faces, that goes beyond 1k.
I did smile at the focus on Ethan and how detailed both event and stand CGs are

I've been doing a proof of concept for some time, actually. Both of the engines I've tried on (RPGMVXA; WRPGE) cringed so hard at it that they'd corrupt the entire project in one way or another, rendering it impossible to proceed. Would probably be stuck doing it on the first, since MV is a titanic piece of shit and, as much as I love Wolf RPG Editor as an engine, the complete lack of an English community/support leaves it too difficult to learn.
So yeah, I don't think I can. I don't think most people here could either, and I tend not to agree with their vents. That's a pretty pisspoor excuse, though. You don't need to have made a movie to review it. You don't need to be a cook to know something's wrong with your food. You don't need a game in your portfolio to see there's something wrong with what you're looking at. If criticism was exclusive to people with something under their belt, not only would you be able to count the reviews of something on your fingers and toes, but they would be a complete fuckfest on top of that.

lol slick, my solution is to not come into this thread and act surprised every week for months at a time when the devs drop yet another one of their deadlines. i've hardly said a peep the last half year, but most of the people telling you to cool your jets really aren't out of line at all
i'll make an addendum for you: if you're giving them money on patreon, you can go ahead and piss and whine all you like, i don't care. but if you're freeloading this game and still bitching at the devs, then yes you are entitled to an annoying degree and it compels me to try to take it down a notch because it's embarrassing for all of us
also i can't speak for everyone, but when i said 'why don't you make your own game?', i meant it lmao. there are still very few games that fill this niche, and having some competition may actually encourage the devs to get their own shit together. more than posting in this thread does apparently anyway lol

if you have the energy to come here constantly, as well as the gall to make claims like 'these devs are lazy' or 'don't care', why don't you invest some of that into your own project? i'm not saying 'HURR DURR LET'S SEE YOU DO BETTER'. well i am, but there's more than that. i'm not using that as a means to shut down any and all complaints. but we've reached critical mass, the exact same complaints inundating this thread beyond the point of parody.
personally i'm a lazy fuck, it took half a year of observing this thread for me to even want to say any of this crap. but some of you guys in here? the dedication is insane. so why not use it for something other than spewing vitriol at a couple of devs who are just trying to put some ambitious little dream together

i agree that the delays are ludicrous. if they can't reliably meet their dates then they should just stop setting them. i've found myself saying 'are you fucking kidding me?' several times now in response to some of these delays. but to just jump at the devs' throats like they aren't real people that face their own difficulties, telling them they're lazy or don't give a shit about this game.. really? maybe they're busy with life. maybe they're running into more technical difficulties than they predicted. maybe they're running out of ideas. or hell, maybe they really are just a couple of lazy dicks laughing their asses off
regardless, even if it's the latter, i think it'd be more productive to move on and endorse/support other projects than to just continue throwing mud at them. and if that's not the case, then you're kinda just being a dick to the people that've provided you with something you obviously attribute value to

A bunch of people have already explained why saying "you should make your own game instead of bitching" is stupid. So I'll just keep repeating myself: Why don't you make your own porn game forum instead of bitching about people on this thread? You'll be able to ban people who call the devs lazy, if that bothers you so much. Or just become a patron if you aren't one already and join the discord if you need a safe space but are too lazy to make your own. Serious talk here:
If a person get's 'triggered' by a simple criticism of game development then they definitely shouldn't bother going into the game development field. In game development you get some very harsh criticisms on even the basic of things in your game, from what engine you used to even the pictures you used for textures. As a game developer you need to learn how to handle such criticisms as they don't often come from a place of malice but from benevolence and most of the time the best advise you get often come from the most harshest of criticisms. Your Friends and Family? They often give the most useless criticisms for your product as they tend to hold back what they want to actually say, so depending on them for critics is generally not advised. No matter what, you as the developer have to read the criticisms for your product as they can help improve the product or even future games you might develop. So you need to know how to handle such feedback without just dismissing them as a person below you (like some AAA companies) as ignoring such feedback can harm your products value in the eyes of the gamer populous. Sure, you may last for a long time living off of drones (aka people who spend their money on anything with your name on it, regardless of what critics say) like certain companies do but you'll need to have attracted such a fandom first and to do that, you'll need to have been listening to feedback and being proactive with your customers when you're still relatively new to the scene. So, If you want to get rich off of making games, then you're in the wrong field as that gamers are fickle and everyone thinks they know what's the 'best game' out there but no-one can agree which game is the best. Making a video game is like making a painting. If no one like it then you'll get no money for your product and that's why you listen to feedback, that's why you need to listen to feedback, and that's why I highly suggest anyone who get's triggered by simple critics for a game to not go into the field as they will not last in it.
