Well, I tried and failed the first visit to "Misty Marsh" . . .
Ended up getting 'controlled' by the cyclops-creatures, and attacked Evie, and 'defeated' her, (she wasn't much, use/help, anyways).
Had to 'quit-out', cause the 'combat' was so one-sided, it wasn't FUN at all . . . and I didn't want to wait out the 'killing' of the Main Character due to 'over-powered' enemies you have no expectations, of what your up-against .
(Evie is worthless as a companion, . . . she mostly talks-big, does hardly any actual combat, and complains when your character gets grabbed/bound-up, cause they/MC are not getting 'free' fast enough . )

well in order for her or any other companion you can bring with to be strong, they need to be with you in a fight to help them gaining LV up just like Celica..tho they wont get lv high as you but they will be stronger once their lv is high enough.. ok after you agreed to let her "keep the body", you need to go get the puppet body then meet her at your own house . Then once you go there she should let you meet Vivi and that should be the end of Grace event

For there always make anti confusion and anti sleep potions. Also, improve your relationship with Capt. Ceres as soon as you can, after that you'll be able to take Galiene with Nel with you during exploration and Galiene is much stronger than Evie. For faster grind, also equip full bodysuit Violet (only while Nel controls you though). You also might want to disable monster sex in options, it'll be less annoying. I wasn't sure which 'status ailment' that it was. (but found out in the town library), and was wondering if, there was an anti-confusion potion available to create, . . . BTW, which IS the correct potion to use ? Sometimes it's hard to decipher, what name goes with what potion. So, we will also need 'anti-sleep' potions ? good to know .
As yet, haven't even met a 'Captain Ceres' . . .
And I had been 'training-up' Evie, on several 'monster-hunts' . . . 'WE', were just not prepared for this 'Unknown', as it turned out .
Also, just 'encountered' a "chest " mimic . . . boy, It really can hit Hard !
In Misty marsh you'll get flowers and you can make anti confusion potions with those. You have to buy the recipe though as well. Anti sleep is only needed if they grab you since there's a chance that they might put you to sleep, but if you disable monster sex it won't be needed (it will be needed much later on since you can get the best dark magic spell there and you'll need to enable monster sex for that, also why is dark magic so god damn op in every rpg).
As for mimics, if you still can't handle them then run, otherwise the strat is very simple: kill them before they kill you. Other than hitting hard and being stupidly fast they're not much of a threat (I have monster sex turned off in case they appear as well). I would actually not recommend bringing full bodysuit Violet for them unless you have lots of spells and high cooldown, she'll do more harm than good otherwise.
Just bring as many health potions as you can and throw all magic you got at them, once you get into red, heal, and repeat. You also might want to equip only mithril or gold equipment while fighting them since they give tons of skill points and that makes learning skills much easier.

completely stuck idk what to do just realized the game i paid for $5.70 wasn't up to date but i wanna finish everything before getting a download on the official site instead of itch.io smh.....

You should upgrade to current public version, it has more stuff. Current patreon build is a total bugfest.

i would do that but im too burnt out from the game and finding out the version i downloaded is old af pushed me too far i generally dont like looking up how to play the game so i didnt notice the version difference over the last couple days

Yeah exactly. What seems to have broke the sequence is that I got my body back with Nel. Later I randomly asked Nel to train in spirit form, took over the puppet, and went back to my house. All of a sudden it was as if Nel never kicked Glace out of my body and the scenes progressed.
Questions concerning "Violet", the "wearable" slime girl :
I like her as a companion for the MC . . . but, not really as wearable clothing, all-the-time .
(also, while 'wearing' her , all sexual-combat, is null & void, as-in, not happening . . . kinda weird in a porn game )
(also, while 'wearing' her, you can't wear anything else . . . like all those clothing pieces that have 'effects'/benefits, on them, etc. )
Is there a point in time/relationship, where, you don't need to 'wear' her, all-the-time/at-all ?
(If, not, I'll be forced to go back to an earlier 'save', . . . and NOT rescue her from the Demoness . . . )

You are freely to choose if you want to wear her or not since the story doesnt involve her anymore after you met her... She is great to be a second "health bar" while protecting you from getting lewd by the enemy, most brokenly if you use charm spell on enemy while wearing her making the enemy just stand there and lose their turn...Questions concerning "Violet", the "wearable" slime girl :

She do have connection with Mistress bond event and a scene with Nel and thats all there is to it for now.
As for wearing her with other clothing, you can, for now, make her change "style" when wearing her (Only if you advanced deeper of her bond with you that unlock more style to change). The current third style she can change (Panties) allow you to wear almost all the clothing you have except that part of your body. If you do change that then she will be in your inventory instead of going back to the Well and you can wear her again if you want to.
