I would love to see if Don added anything important to the storyline (without the alpha male sex scene between Lester and Dan), but I’m not getting my hopes up. I just want the story to strive forward and not regress two steps back

Same. I'm honestly more curious to see how that one unfolds. Burt's rougher around the edges than Don's other antagonists, and the story seems more straightforward. For now anyway.

There are times the chapters and stories get uploaded to this thread quickly, but unfortunately this is one of those times we are experiencing the opposite.
Hopefully we will see the final draft of TA ch. 23 and Detestable Liaison Ch. 5 uploaded soon
However I’m starting to feel our sources were tired of Don‘s direction with Toxic Attraction and to voice their displeasure simply stopped paying the subscription and moved on

I'm going to speak up for the people who still like this story. I've enjoyed most chapters and love the idea of an ugly man seducing an attractive woman.
Just wish he would switch up the sex scenes. There's no reason we had to have a car sex scene in the recent chapter. Have him fuck her in the hospital bathroom or raise the stakes and have them fuck near her kids school.
Also I'm hoping we get to the point where she's seducing him and initiating intimacy. More dates where they're intimate in public. Have them play up the boyfriend role properly. I want her to kiss him. Tell him he's better than her husband. And eventually that she loves him more than her husband

If he wasn't a jerk trashy person then maybe she could/should fall for him. The erotic "realism" stuff is lost if that happens and it a turn off imho
Except there are plenty of women who go for the bad boy, especially when they don't treat her like trash, just everyone else and he has been there for her on numerous occasions, even if they were planned by him, without her knowledge. She also thinks he has never lied to her, where others have, so she trusts him, even if it is ill conceived trust.
