I downloaded the 4.8.31 version and when i try to export data i got theses errors for all .json files :
Any idea ?
Start a new project (always do this when updating the program or changing the version of the game) and then import translations into it, using the appropriate option. There is a chance, if unsuccessful, that you will have to do it one translation at a time.

I have noticed something odd with Translator++ 4.7.30 Developer x64.

If I have it running for a while and then close it, it does not kill all processes.
Then the remaining ones suddenly start eating around 10% cpu and have high power usage for me. (And I have a pretty damn beefy cpu.)

This is what the process looks like before closing Translator++:
beforeclosing.png
This is the remaining stuff for me after closing Translator++.
afterclosing.png
It stays like that indefinitely, they never close, or stop drawing power.

Only seems to happen for me with the developer version, not the standard version, and only after having it run for several minutes.
Not entirely sure what to make of this, but I didn't really try to further investigate it, yet.

Edit: I just realized that me phrasing it like that makes it sound like I'm implying that there's a cryptominer, or something else intentionally malicious.
I'm really not.
It does not draw any GPU and it's not consistent enough to be intentional. It just seems like a weird bug to me.

Is there any way to add the Deepl extension to Translator++ without having to login to the patreon account?
View attachment 2313556
Haven't used DeepL in a while, but this should still work.

Use one of the cracked Translator++ versions here (ex 4.7.30) and extract this into www>addons.
Next time you launch it DeepL will show up in your translator list.

But I should mention that this is an outdated addon version, so it's kinda bad. I don't think the newer ones were shared, yet.

Can someone please share the latest build (v5.1.19)?
I have managed to get v4.9.28 to run (explanation in "Set Up"), from a download shared here (open the quote or the "Download" spoiler):

Translator++ 4.9.28

Due to the fact that the developer introduced an additional check. The latest version was not working. I immediately apologize for the inconvenience caused.

1. Added 2 additional archives to the cloud

translator++_x32.7z

translator++_x64.7z

You need to copy the contents of one of these archives, depending on the bit depth of your system, to your profile folder, along the path "C:\Users\Admin\AppData\Local\". If it asks for a replacement, agree. But it is desirable, first, to delete the old translator++ folder along the same path. In the end, you should end up with something like this:

"C:\Users\Admin\AppData\Local\translator++"

The profile folder is hidden by default. You need to enable the display of hidden files and folders. Below I will throw off a couple of links so that you can understand this matter.

P.S. Also, this time added a free Yandex translator. Please test. Hope this method works. Happy translations everyone! Sincerely, admin. (Роман).

Password for archives: Downloaded from Porno-Island

This is obviously a workaround, and having to remember to activate/deactivate the firewall rule is a pain in the ass bothersome, but it certainly works.
Now we just need someone to share the latest (cracked) version like the above to get the latest bugfixes and addons updates.
So if anyone knows the source of the download and has a way to share it, please do so.

Thank you for sharing, but isn't the firewall stuff kinda overcomplicating it?
You can just disable your internet connection launch Translator++ and then enable it again.
I think for most people that would be an easier solution. I mean not everyone is running a server, or otherwise needs to maintain a constant internet connection at all times.

Edit: Now that I think about it, why not simply automate the whole deal with netsh.
Make a ".bat" that turns on the firefall rule, launches translator++, waits a few seconds and then turns the rule off again.

To make a complete U-Turn on my not overcomplicating post. :KEK:
You can automate the whole turning the rule on and off bit.
For example if your Translator++ executable is in "C:\Program Files\Translator++" and you named the rule "transcucked", you can make a ".bat" with these contents.
Bash:
@Echo off
netsh advfirewall firewall set rule name="transcucked" new enable=yes
TIMEOUT /T 1
START "" "C:\Program Files\Translator++\Translator++.exe"
TIMEOUT /T 30
netsh advfirewall firewall set rule name="transcucked" new enable=no
And then either run the ".bat" as admin manually, or to make it more convenient, convert it to an executable and then tell windows to always run it as admin.

That turns the firewall rule on, waits 1 sec, starts Translator++, waits 30 seconds for it to start, and then it turns the rule back off.

Downside of this is that you automatically run Translator++ as admin that way, too. (No idea if that's bad.)
I forgot how to only run the "netsh" stuff as admin. :(

It's not really that overcomplicated, effectively you are creating a switch to block the internet connection on/off (from that .exe).
Disconnecting outright is also a solution, but imo you take longer to do that and reconnecting later and it feels more bothersome in the long run. Instead with the firewall rule you can do whatever on the internet and go back to Translator++.
You are right that for most people this seems complicated but...

Yeah I got the same idea inmediately after I posted the instructions lol you beat me to it. Guess I was too fixated on writing the procedure at the time.
With a .bat file you are effectively doing steps 12 to 15 in one click thus making it easier for the end user, yes that is better.
(I have no idea how to make that .bat into an .exe though)

There is also the possibility of creating a separate .bat file, which would create the new rule for the firewall to cover for steps 5 to 7.
That way the end user only has to do: steps 1-4 -> run CreateFirewallRule.bat -> steps 8-11 -> run RunTranslator++.bat

I also think you can combine those two files into a single one, it would involve either creating a firewall rule on file start up and deleting it at the end of the process, or making it check if a rule is already created and only create one if none are found (thus it only creates a rule once, no need for deleting it).
Dunno which is easier, may look into it later.

Here's a simple .bat to .exe converter.

Edit: Removed it because it wasn't behaving how I wanted.
The issue with the windows built in IEXPRESS is that it executes the .bat in a temporary folder instead of the folder of the executable. That means "%~dp0Translator++.exe" does not work.

Edit2:
TSnake41's "b2ev" seems to work, but is a pain to setup.
F2KO's "Bat TO Exe Converter 3.0" works as well and is a lot more user friendly, but it is not open source. (No idea how safe it is.)

Just to beat you again. :KEK:
Bash:
@Echo off
netsh advfirewall firewall add rule name="transcucked" dir=out program="%~dp0Translator++.exe" profile=any action=block
TIMEOUT /T 1
START "" "%~dp0Translator++.exe"
TIMEOUT /T 30
netsh advfirewall firewall delete rule name="transcucked"
This "should", regardless of where you extracted Translator++ (as long as the ".bat" is in that folder), create the firewall rule, wait 1 second, start Translator++, wait 30 seconds, and then delete the rule again.

But this still has the issue of needlessly running Translator++ as admin.

Edit: Had a typo, fixed now.

For simplicity sake, here's the already converted and tested executable and the original .bat.

But since executables are spooky maybe convert it yourself, or run it in a sandbox first while checking it with procmon, glasswire, or something like that, to make sure neither me, nor the converter I used, is an evil bad bad, since this will obviously trigger all AVs under the sun. :KEK:

Edit: Better Bat version here.

Lol, got me. I have tested it and yep it works.
Converted it myself using "B2Executable" ( ), I think there is no way in hell to make that bat into an exe without it triggering a thousand flags no matter what we do, it simply messing with the firewall is bound to do that, so I am nearly certain is a false possitive.
Also I made it use Translator++ icon for extra NTR lol

In the meantime I have also tested to see if this method works for the latest build, tldr: it doesn't.
But I am nearly sure that if we got a more recent "translator++" folder (ie user profile that was used with that particular build) from someone it would work, even if the user was banned (it would require testing though)

Next post has the download + updated steps + crack for user convenience

Here you have the Translator++ v4.9.28 download and set up.
This is (mostly) a workaround, but it works.
Thanks to Shisaye for putting together the crack code and certain russians (out site) for the download source.

Tried it and it doesn't work. It's stuck loading forever and it was never in russian either.
That is because you probably extracted the "translator++" folder in the wrong place, or not extracted it at all.
Try doing step 4 again as it says and it should work

Did it perfectly and the same problem still shows up. Instructions aren't clear enough if that's the case.
Lol and I thought I went overkill with the instructions.
Did it step by step twice, worked twice.

I am 99% sure the problem is that you are extracting the whole "translator++_x64" or "translator++_x32" folders, instead of the "translator++" folder that is inside both of them. Do step 4 again

That implies you have it though.
Where did you get it? Can you share it?
Does your source include the crack for the old layer of drm?

I don't fully know it because I've never done it myself, but apparently if you download Tranlator++ from the patreon it's purposely missing files, and you would download those files depending on your account when you launch it.
Those files used to be in the main folder and now they've either moved to the Appdata folder, or those are now additional ones.

So "I would guess" that we do not just need the Appdata account data, but also the files of the old DRM that are loaded into the main folder, or it will not work. (Those Russian versions already include them.)
