Ok how do i make the translator stop putting spaces in script texts
for example "[対象者]<MoveSpeed:2.5>" becomes "[対象者] <MoveSpeed: 2.5>"
and that ruins the script
You fix it manually with regex.
You could probably find a filter but every game has its own format.

Good day.
Author, tell me what is the difference between

Unmarked version, Admin version, Standard and developer version. To be honest, I do not understand which version I should download.)

The developer of the program doesn't happen here.
The difference between the versions of the program is invented by people just like you and me. I only know about the *admin* version. The person who called it that, added a dark theme, which I do not know how to turn on) But what is very useful, personally for me, he has stitched in the default translator DeepL.
Also, when I was using the developer version, I noticed that it's more glitchy, but it has a log, when unpacking the game (F12). There is no other log anywhere else.

4.8.31 (standart)

4.8.31 (admin)
Password: Downloaded from Porno-Island
(The Russian language is enabled by default, I think you can switch it)

...
Understood thanks)

Perhaps, of course, I did something wrong. But I did not succeed with this program.

In general, I downloaded the standard version, it unpacked the files, but apparently with errors. I looked inside the scripts, there are interrupted pieces of code.

The translation was done tolerably well. The file was not packed back into ".rpa", the game did not start. It's a pity.

When I first started translating, I also wanted to put the files back in their original state. So that everything would be nice and harmonious. After studying a couple of dozen instructions, I realized that this is practically unrealizable and generally unnecessary.
However, there is a good option, for us.
I don't like to write a lot, but okay. You need to create a folder structure, similar to that in the game. And place the translated files in it. Then, you can take the PATCH you created, put it in the untranslated game and these files will pick up and the game will get translated, without unpacking. It's tricky to get started, but if you try... That's how you learn.

And yes, unpack games with older versions of the translator. Newer ones don't know how to do it)) strange fact

Can anyone help a bro out?

I've been interested in translating some games, using the tool to do the heavy lifting then manually editing most lines so they'll sound more natural.

Which would be fine, since time isn't an issue right now, the problem is in most games I got this sort of situation:
1.png
2.png

Basically every other line will have a "duplicate" line of the same context, sometimes the line is exactly the same and sometimes it's only slightly different.

Example:
3.png

Which of course means duplicate lines ingame every other dialogue box if I don't manually delete the duplicates.

I'm not sure why it does this, since if I use DeepL on any browser and input the line it won't have that duplicate error.
This makes editing any game a real hassle, having to manually browse every file for duplicates by hand is a huge undertaking.

Is there anyway I can solve this? If anyone has any insight I'd would appreciate it.

This is using v4.8.3.1 \ DeepL Translator

"duplicate" line
This is using v4.8.3.1 \ DeepL Translator
Now I'm translating the game from French, about 30% of the text turns out with the same problem. To my luck all such problematic text, appears at the very end of the text and I am very uncomfortable correcting it manually. Nevertheless, I don't know the solution, but now I'm wondering if it might be a bug in the latest versions of translator++? I'll check when I get to the next segment of the game.

This is what I suspected as well, I'm testing another (3rd) game, and it has the same duplicate line issues.

Hopefully this can be fixed, it's a real shame since I wanted to share these games with the rest of the community, but having these duplicate lines issue just feels sloppy, yet I have no real way of working around it without deleting them manually with is extremely time consuming even for smaller games.

Unfortunately, I think this is a problem with the Deepl engine itself.
I'm using it quite often at work and have noticed those duplications happening sometimes. It feels like the engine hesitates between two (sometimes even three) translations and gives them all just in case.

Your plugin isn't correctly configured so it is stealth translating the text then including translated text with the Japanese and sending it to get translated again. This clearly doesn't do anything to the English but does translate the Japanense then outputs what looks like double the text.

So it's something like:
<Moon runes> -> translation -> <English + Moon Runes> -> Plugin -> translation -> <English + English>

I haven't touched any plugins from the Translator++ tool, all I did was change the language in preferences from Russian -> English and so on.

Is there a fix for the issue??

No idea. I do all my RPG Maker editing in RPG Maker Editor.
I can do a lot of RPG Maker fixing, all the way into editing plugins and stuff. I talked with someone about Translator++ doubling text once and remembered that so I'm sure that the source of the problem was as I explained. I can poke around a bit just give me some time.

That's a real shame and such an odd and frustrating issue too.
Mostly because the web version of DeepL translates just fine and doesn't seem to have this issue. :(

Thanks for getting back to me, if you do manage to locate the issue (Hopefully there's a fix, fingers crossed) please get back to me on it.

I really am enjoying translating, wanted to do some more obscure titles but no matter how much manual editing I do, when you have thousands of lines and even 30-40% of them have duplicate issues, the entire work ends up looking sloppy, not to mention how almost impossible it is to fix all of it by hand.

Anyway, no rush, I'll be working on another title in the meantime.
Hopefully I can make it better than the last.

Just to be sure you said you are using v4.8.3.1 ?
None of the links I found in like 2s of searching had that version. Any reason that version or is it just what you have?
