hello dear users, can you tell me what I need to do to translate the game rpg maker vx ace ... when I choose the game to translate then I just get the loading screen ( forever ), I once translated the game rpg mv maker and it worked 0_0 .. . by the way when I enter the data folder, there are a lot of rvdata2 files (map01, actor and etc) do I have to change those files?

I am trying to translate a game called mira and the mysterious alchemist and I have managed to translate the ui and items, but I cant seem to find any speech text when looking in the viewer. Maybe the speech text is encypted ? Or I am doing something wrong.

when i'm still using Windows 7 i can't export data from wolf rpg game, but when i'm upgraded my OS to Windows 8.1 and trying to export data from wolf rpg game (same game) and it worked, but it doesn't work again after i'm installing vcredist 2012 , 2013 , 2015 , 2017.

i'm using Translator++_1.9.29

what do you mean translator engine, do you mean for the batch translator? Honestly I use google for initial translation, then check it against bing and yandex manually.

Hey, I have a few issues with Translator++, do you know how regularly the dev is doing updates?
First issue:

batch word wrap, for context use nothing, usually the default 41 works with every font. As for names it seems to be calling upon something that isn't translated properly.

No the default 41 does not work, the Translator has issues with counting, the first sentence I tried got wrapped after 41 chars, 5 spaces and 1 comma. Someone forgot to say the software, to count everything, not just A-Z and a-z, it's in every version I tried (1.3.22, 1.6.17 and 1.10.10)

The second issue is related to the game (Space Pilgrim One) I try to translate (English to German) because Translator++ don't import the tooltip text. When I translate it manually, I tried Hex and Notepad++, Translator++ refuses to create a table and hangs at 100%. The mouse actions in the .rvdata2 files are written like this <mouse [action] [value 1] [value 2] [tooltip text]> while value 1, value 2, and the tooltip text are not always present. If anyone knows a workaround please help, the game is free on Steam.

You have to rename the game.rgss3a to game.rgss3a.bak (bak is used as an ending to backup files) then it should load from data folder

FINALLY!!! I fixed the line wrapping issue myself, lucky it was written in java script, that way a solution could be found online, just had to edit a few parts to get it working, also it's much faster code than the original.
Now the only issue I have left, is the tooltip text that don't get imported. Would really like to sort this out with the dev, but he didn't answer my emails

If you want to expand the refrence table you have to go to \Translator++\www\js and open trans.js with Notepad++ or a similar advanced text editor and extend the array trans.data.

I mean add more lewd words to the list, since they can improve the translation
