I can't get it to work. Now the old version doesn't open anything, and clicking the import button doesn't do anything either. The game I'm trying to work with already has a .trans file (someone did an MTL pass, and I want to do a manual translation), and I can open that, but it still doesn't register my changes. It's like the translator++ app doesn't read the \www directory or something. I was able to make changes by manually editing the .json files in the \www\data directory, but doing the entire game like that would be a nightmare.
Save the .trans file to another location and delete the game. Unpack the new game from the previously downloaded archive. So, with which you were working - is no longer suitable to work with the program. After that, follow the steps above.

Can someone give me a tip how I can resize the ingame text using Translator++?
So I can remedy this:
I can't find an option in Translator++ and am not sure what to do. I read in this thread you had to edit plugins.js, but that doesn't seem to have worked.
If not, is there at least a way to stop words from getting cut off like in the screenshot?

Oh yeah, sorry, like I said, I'm still new, I forgot you can use other engines as well. Yeah, the game is made using RPGMV.
Unfortunately, I have not encountered this engine. I tried to google it, but only got confused. It is necessary to look at a concrete example. Try searching for values in plugins...

try adding \n where you want to change the line.

Anyone menages to translate ELF games like Kawarazaki-ke no Ichizoku 2 using this tool? I have no idea how to decrypt and unzip files from this game.

Elf games are made using AI5WIN(PC-98 games) or AI6WIN engine depending on how old they are. As far as I know translator++ can't translate that as seeing as elf no longer exists I doubt they'll work on putting it there.

There is though a tool made specifically to extract/repack this engine's script that you can use made fairly recent.
You want to get the AI6Tool to work if ichizoku2( )

There is also this tool that can decrypt several novel engines, including silky/elf's. ( )
Its made to simplify to usage of tools, it'll extract the script text into excel .xlsx or a json file and reinsert them using that.

Once I exported the WolfRPG translation into .dat files, I can't find any way of importing them back for editing. I forgot to make a transfile, so I'm stuck with just these .dat files and no way of editing them with translator++. Is there any way?
