Is translator++ capable of editting/translating the western release of STARLESS?
I tried running it through the program, but got nothing but errors, this is what's contained in the installed folder.

It's a game that's already over 10 years old so I don't know if it's just an old engine that's not compatible with translator++
I don't know what kind of engine this game has, but you'll have to unzip the game archives and translator ++ will not help you in this.

Anyone tried to translate game that is written in classic japanese style (from right to left and from up to down)?
I haven't personally tried it, but if you take RenPy for example, in order to change the text style you need to make changes to the game code. Therefore, such a translation is possible. But it requires certain skills

Or Is a common thing when you do the Batch Translation?

So after MTool removed GTranslate back in Aug/Sept or so, I got familiar with T++ again. Noticed a local Sugoi option now, and set it up. Works well enough and is fast enough with CUDA, but there are two things that irk me that I haven't found posted here when searching (Or I missed it).

Using T++ Ver. 5.3.31B. (Latest public build I think)

Often times when translating RPGMaker games (MV and MZ engines I assume, haven't used T++ with much older games yet), there is a <b>, <brr>, and brr> with a few other variations in the middle of sentences that breaks the flow (and sometimes meaning) of a sentence. Here's an example of the initial auto-translation of local server Sugoi, then translated via Sugoi offline translator outside of T++, then Google for comparison:

Sugoi1.png

From examining, it looks like it has to do with line breaks in RPGM's code, only certain ones get left behind when T++ exports the text to Sugoi for translating that creates these. Just removing the instances of the <b>'s with a space leaves occasional confusing sentences as a result typically.

Also, every once in a while a line will seemingly randomly break unnaturally, for example - after the word "and" in the following in the Auto column:

sugoi2.png

I saw the patch notes of T++ between the current public version and the newest patreon/beta version, and they're pretty vague, does the paid recent updates fix these issues with T++ + Sugoi, or is there another solution that I'm not aware of for more accurate translations with local Sugoi?

Do any of the new versions of translator++ fix the fact that the ability to subtract individual tags just does not work, or the fact that the tag blacklist/whitelist for injecting is not even an implemented feature?

Hey, I am new to this (first time even trying to)
so i translated the game properly (google translated) and it runs but gives an error when it comes to play after opening scene 'standing' is unknown model Screenshot 2024-01-17 044855.png

PS: Nevermind after manual labour of not translating some object's rows found the right patch

Hi for anyone subscribed to Translator++ patreon can anyone tell me how the points and stuff works I'm a bit confused.

Basically I only want to get the patreon version for access to chatgpt and other LLM addons, should I first purchase a higher plan then downgrade or do I need to remain on a higher plan? Also if anyone is subscribed and has access to better knowledge on the latest version can you let me know what features and plan I will need for that?

Also do I need to maintain my subscription to have access to my addons? I'm fine with skipping updates for many months if it's unnecessary as I'm very satisfied with the public translator++ just that my experience will be vastly improved if I can customise the chatgpt and LLM functionality on the premium

Hi everyone.
Big question, to which I couldn't find an answer.
Many games have variables such as names or other things that are shown in square brackets [ ], obviously if the translator translates them for me then the game won't work.
For example translated can become or [me] and therefore I lose the correlations.
How do I tell traslator++ and where should I insert this information so that it excludes me from the translation everything that:
- is in square brackets [ ]
- that is, everything that has the extension .mp3, .ogg and . wave
and so on.... once I understand the command I then apply it to everything.
Thank you all

If I am not wrong here then you can just remove the brackets entirely using replace, that should work too

when using google translating then the brackets changes from "【 】" to "[ ]" which gives error, so just fix that maybe

Hi, the problem is not the brackets but what's inside.
For example, in some games the character is called [john] and if I translate the various files from English to Italian the name is changed sometimes to [giovanni] and sometimes to [john] and so the game gives me a lot of errors .
I can proceed with the "replace", but it becomes a huge job if in a game there are 10 names and maybe 15-20 chapters in which to check all the individual names and letters.

What I would need is to understand where and how I can set on Translator++ that what is inside the square brackets in the translation remains as it is.
For example
ENG : "But what did you do [john]?"
ITA : " Ma cosa hai fatto [john]?" and not "Ma cosa hai fatto [giovanni]?"

Same thing for songs if there are music like "door.mp3" google translates everything and therefore "porta.mp3" (porta is the translation of door in Italian)

There's a "Replace All" function in the same "Replace" window. Just be careful how you use it, as it does exactly as it says.
