I don't understand how I play this game...
there is multiple thing we need to download ? the game I download can't be opened, I looked on How to install and run Trap Quest! but links are not working.
Can someone explain me please ?
1. Get WinGit, install it.
2. only first time you play right click the .gblorb file and tell it to always use wingit for this type file.
3. from then on windows will know what to use to open .gblorb files and all you have to do is click the .gblorb file and they will play.
3.5. I did not go in to detail because every thing I said to do is very basic window's knowledge that most all people using windows should know.
4, Really that is all there is to it, on window's systems.

Download Git (assumption you are on Windows) as outlined in the first/main post.
Download a version of the game.
Move both to the same directory
Get either or both out of their zips if they are in one
Drag game over/onto the Git.exe

Or double click the game (that is the .glorb), you get the "How do you want to open this"-dialog, first time select "More apps", select "Look for another app on this PC", go to the directory with Git.exe, select Git.exe. Second time in the dialog select Git.exe and then OK.

It's peak "plug-and-play" mentality: Everything has to "just work."
Having to download anything other than the game itself is just too much. God forbid I have to actually do anything to get my gratuitous porn!
There's very little install process. Get WinGit, or Gargoyle, then download the game file. Double click the game file. You're done.
Download a program to run the game, install, then download the game. Right. So little.
Alternatively...

Package the game with the files needed to run it... Like most folk do.
I really don't get why this is something that needs defending, let alone a fancy name to mock those that simply don't want to leap through the hoops just to run a game.

Making things needlessly complicated and requiring separate downloads for the different components of a game is stupid.
Setup like this is totally unnecessary and gatekeeping this nonsense... It's just absurd.

Look, it's one thing to question the choice of format/engine but it's quite another to play victim and take it as mockery and gatekeeping. Platform agnosticism and minimalist packaging are anything but gatekeeping. Particularly in the historical context of downloading your games and CYOA stories with an analogue modem.

This game's development started nearly 10 years ago. Just think for a moment how much the world has changed since then. Yeah, Inform7 was probably a bad choice of a platform given how things have progressed these days. But how in the literal fuck would any developer know this back then?
Aika chose a platform that worked for them at the time. It's a shitty platform for the project (which is a sentiment they even expressed at some point before if I'm not going crazy) but nearly a decade of work has gone into the project on that platform and so they're basically stuck with it.

Is it really that fucking hard to download one extra thing to run a game?

If you go to their website (link on the first post) you can find the latest version post and under the heading "How to Download" in the first paragraph there's a launcher for Windows that comes with a player updated to work with the game and lets you download the character window you want directly (as well as letting you know about updates, clothing excluded) and update the Patreon unlock file easily.
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
It's exactly what you're looking for (if you're on Windows).

Yes, it is so little. You install an interpreter program and open the game file with that program. It's really not asking a lot, and if you think it is, you're going to hate playing this game anyway.

Your hoops are imaginary. You download and install the interpreter program only once. Any update to the game means you only download the new game file. Bundling them together makes no sense. Also, there is a game launcher now. I haven't tried it myself because it's for Windows.

The ONLY thing needlessly complicated here is the official instructions which is probably why so many new people have problems with this. Again, if installing an interpreter program once is asking too much of you, you're not going to enjoy playing this game anyway. It's an old game that i believe lived much longer than originally planned.

way simpler than a lot of RPGM games which I like a lot of them as well.

You need MV, Ace, VX, and XP >>> RTP to play most of those though some do come with the package for playing them installed, but that just makes every game larger for no reason, so is better to just have the player software RTP's or what have you installed.

But with those you may also need a different Unpack-aging or unzip program to keep Japanese characters right on some of them, and also might have to hunt down a local emulator as well.

So I personally don't see getting one tiny program to run this one as a big deal at all.

I would like to find more shoes in the game.
In earlier versions was alot of shoes and heels as weapons. Ok, maybe its hard to go in 5" heels, but it are kicking pretty well! :p

Hey, I have a question how can I free the princess on the school ?
I've read that I need to rid of everyone in school and it's what I did, I also interact with lying teacher to see if the is something, but no. And in the princess room, I can only say "hello" to princess, do I need to type a specific word or I just didn't understand what to do ?

You need to pass the last course (Diamond, I think), and then choose to free her instead of punishing her. Then you fight everyone.

Undo tends to bug out I think if I remember correctly anyways. Sometimes it won't let you undo even once. It doesn't help that undo includes absolutely EVERYTHING you do, not just actions that advance time in game.

Undo takes you to the previous scene. And I don't believe it works in the middle of a scene.
You need to build up an intuitive sense for what does and does not count, but the prime example is something like this:
If you're in the slut school and enter a class with some repetition to it (like the "taking shots" challenge for example) you cannot undo in the middle of the class. Once you're finished, hitting undo takes you right mack to the moment before you entered the class though.
In combat, hitting undo simply "undoes" the last action you took.

It's pretty inconsistent and may need work, but you should be able to figure it out.

There is actually a bug with undo running out of uses, though, is what I'm referring to. And by everything, I meant to include things that have nothing to do with the gameplay itself, like expanding the inventory windows or accessing the settings display.
