I think better version Strateg but strateg version dont have clothing system and clothing version except view clothing have bad character image and restrict for body expansion (breast, hips and ass) So there question of your taste. You can see 6 different character windows below at description page.
Fabularium on Android also does the job. But you would need a tablet, I don't recommend this game on a phone.

Hmm yeah it is kinda like TADS, but the picture of the avatar almost always changes to represent your current status (depends on the version that you pick). The "acts" are usually represented by a picture (which uses the strateg visuals), also on the schoo- I mean on the academy the acts use something more similar to the Clothing visuals.Is this kinda TADS?

That was somehow convincing to try it out. I imagined it could be more terminal rogue-like too.
That one is done with photos instead of art, as can be seen in the this is how this version of TQ looks image.
Then wingit is the way too go. I would recommend the one that is on the trapquest website, it comes with a launcher (oh also, it comes with a downloader, that you need to use so you can play).
