1: Download GIT from the link on the first page of this thread. You probably want the newest version.
2: Unzip it somewhere.
3: Download the latest Clothing version of the game from the last post on the next-to-last page of this thread; put that file in the same folder as the unzipped GIT.exe file.
4: Drag the TrapQuest220902T.gblorb file onto the GIT.exe file to play the game.
5: (Optional) Find a debug unlock file from somewhere in the thread. Once ever, drag that file onto the GIT.exe file to enable patron content like cheats.
Each art version of the game comes in a different big file. Grab them if you want to change art styles (and run the game from that file instead). Grab a new unlocker when available to get more patron content.
Am I the only one who really doesn't give a shit about which window version is available?
I'm here for the gameplay. The art is just a bonus to me.

So you can´t. Seems it is that difficult. The instructions on the opening page do not explain and you are not helping by trying (unsuccessfully) to appear clever.

Thank you. Here´s my issue. I download the git from the link and there is no .exe file. The version I used was the git137 as that appears to be the newest. I tried the wingit137 but after d/ling it 5-6 times, each time I try to unzip it, it says the file is missing or moved?

this is because windows defender detects wingit as a virus (it is not). if you are not okay with this, try another player gargoyle. check my post for instructions

I'm starting to think that this is the same issue that every new person finds when trying to play the game for the first time, and that's why they end up giving up

Try searching the thread. Yes, i know that means you have to sift through the search results a bit but you need to understand that every new player asks the same questions and people get tired of giving the same responses over and over again. I think most of us just don't reply anymore. Kudos to TheodoreBear for not giving up on new players.

Wouldn't it be simpler for the uploaders to ZIP the new game file together with Git v1.35 files in one folder? No AV warnings, no brain-taxing multiple archives to merge... Would cut down the content of this thread by 50%!View attachment 2026851

Noooo, please save us kind stranger, I (and many others) desesperatly want to play the newest version of this game with the clothing window (thank you CursedMay already) and all functionalities! ^^I did the last 3, its def someone elses turn
UPDATE: there is a hotfix now, so not only we need the new unlocker, but we also need CursedMay 's help once again ! :O

I have no more power here than you do, feel free to contact the thread owner with your suggestion. Personally though i think zipping them together makes zero sense because then the uploader has to be bothered with combining them every time and people who just want the updated game file are getting unneccessary files bundled with their download. However, i think it would make sense to add a separate download for a clean WinGit version in the first post (even though i prefer Gargoyle as a Linux user).
I have uploaded my wingit 135 a couple of times but here it is again.

As for recommendations to make the setup easier. I would make a folder either in the Wingit folder or next to it called Trap Quest. You place the game file in there, making it easy to navigate to when you want to play. Additionally the game will make some local files with saved preferences. You also need to place the unlockers in the same folder as the game files and run them in the same way as the game file and it'll make a file called donators.glkdata.
In the end it should look something like files attached. I have another game called Flexible Survival in there as well and having the folders like this means it's 2 clicks to navigate from game to game. Additionally, I can't remember when Aika tossed this at us, I have a program called BlorbSmacker which lets you open .gblorb files and see all the images and Audio Files in it.

It's an import site for Paywalled content. Nobody with the 20$ tier have imported since the update but it might suddenly be there.
