RPG MV can crash if you got a potato PC with no RAM. Especially if you leave it open for a while and play a lot of movies/scenes

The game crashed probably due to him using a cheat mod or modifying stats on his own.

Any help with this " 'use your machete in the park to uncover a key for the hidden item in the cave area where sofias crew got trapped ' " I understand the clue and where you have to take the key once you find it but i've searched the entire park for an area to use the machete and can't seem to find it. Any help is appreciated

OK. This a old bug, developer not fix. It give no help in this situation.
You need uninstall the game and delete the path and User Data and start with a new full game.

It's an assumption. Wouldn't be the first time that the game crashes due to modified files. And a crash during animation could be an indication for a) outdated gpu drivers, b) outdated video codecs, c) game using the less powerful gpu on a dual-card system.

If you use some cheats, mods, editing, than you must delete game. If your game is clear than Madalyn is in church basement. In this screen it is down left door.

1. I am not aware of a single example.
- a installed Cheat Mod does not crash graphics.
- A graphic cannot be crashed with a variable editor.

2. You have no evidence that G3RWANT modified ToN.
- And if he did that, it is far from worse. Because: Every programmer does that.
- Every game developer does that.

So, I must be missing something.

I'm not far in the game, but I can't figure out what to do.

I went around everywhere. I had Alia over for the first time. Hints are telling me to bring a rare talisman to Sofia, but the gates are closed and idk where she is.

And what is a rare talisman? The Jade ones? I've only found Jade and Stone.

Also, how the hell do you craft a new shovel? I have a shovel head, shaft, and handle, but have no idea how to craft a new one.

I also have a screwdriver. No idea what to do with that...my only hint is to find a rare talisman. Clare blocks one path, scorpions another, park ranger another, and no glowy things are showing up.

On top of that I bought all I could from the store. No new stock is in. So...where do I go? I might figure it out by the time I get an answer, but I'd appreciate the help. Especially on this whole crafting business.

So... maybe reload from your save before you crafted the Pirate Key?

There's a bunch of crafting recipes laying around the ground (looks like an open book/beige pages). Every recipe takes 4 ingredients (that those recipe will tell you, though keep in mind you'll have to use big brain power and remember them until way later in the game where you can buy a chest that keeps the recipes you already learned). Search for them, there'll be 1 to craft/upgrade the shovel.

Rare talisman is either jade or silver. Or higher. Once you got 1, try talking to the camera around her fence or try ramming said fence with your face. Or keep checking the hints, maybe they'll change.

Game is also ultra-mega linear : whatever you need is always handed to you in whatever new screen you unlock.

Game play is on the wane in Treasure of Nadia and the story not advancing incrementally and interestingly with each update in the way I would like. An excess of pornography and dearth of game play in an adult game isn't a winning recipe and might explain why this thread seems to be becoming threadbare. Realistically I suppose that nothing will change until the roll of NLT Media Patreon supporters begins to decline, although adding new characters to the game, due to happen soon, apparently, will force the developers to add more drama to the game as their backstories are rolled out.

I hope so anyway because I want ToN to be a game not just wall-to-wall cartoon sex.

If all I wanted was cartoon sex I'd stick to Japanese manga.
