So, A thing happened while fishing/talking with the guy in the store, and I'm pretty sure I just lost an hour or two of progress. Guy behind counter won't move at this point, and I cannot move or open up the game menu because it's a tacklebox for no good reason. 2021-01-03.png Anyone know of a way to clip through the fishing guy so I can leave the store/save my game? Alternatively, if I quit and reload my last save, is there some way to hack the fish so I can enter the catches I currently have listed here without having to farm for a tuna over 105 lb a second time? (I literally caught 17 tuna between 90 and 104 lbs before the RNG gods blessed me with one big enough to count.)

When I loaded the save file, it said 40%, but when I pressed right click and scene play, it actually 67%

Before you load and save the imported save, your game does not know
that you have changed a save outside of the game. your game only knows this after saving .
Please, read the "Explanation of how and where to load :" in all. SAVES

The storage space in ToN need to be occupied. You have to overwrite the old saves with new ones . Was the space empty, in this you insert, the new loaded file will not be displayed. The game not know, you have overwrite a file and show you the old %. You need the overwritten file load and safe. After the save the game know the new % and show this correct.
Please explain it to me in German. Maybe then, we can improve your text, so that people will understand, what you try to tell them.

What he's trying to say is that you need to have an unchanged gamesave of yourself before you can replace it with a modded one. otherwise the game won't recognise any saves.

I understand that, because the save file requires the defaultglobal file too. Without it, the save file won't work. So, why not include the global file to the save file to avoid all the confusion?

I can't answer that question for you since I don't use modded saves myself.
oCATo is the driving force behind guides and tricks here but language can be a barrier sometimes, I don't know where any of the people here originate from, I'm only glad we're all here with a similar love for these kinds of games.

i never import a defaultglobal file. This is not good. That turns the other existing saves too.

Nope, thats the place. Have you run the game at least once to let it set up the folders? Also "appdata" is a hidden folder, have you enabled show hidden folders?

Make sure you are looking at the folders under the user name you are usually logged in as when you are playing and not "default" or "public" user.

If there are several accounts on the same machine have a look at the other users, maybe you messed up and played the game on another users account.

That's all I can think of at the moment, hope it helps.

Good Luck.

t found it, thank you very much

You can replace it with:
Backup your old saves and delete the save folder. Start a new game and save as soon as possible. Then copy/move the download save and put into the new created save folder. Start the game again and load the save. Game progress status (%) might show a wrong number. To fix that simply save the game again and reload.
